An Archive of Our Own, a project of the Organization for Transformative Works
It’s been over a month since I posted this, and I just now realised I never posted it on Tumblr. Here’s a fic I wrote based on one of my headcanons for Noelle! It started off as just a Suselle fluff fic but eventually expanded to be so much more than that, and I’m really proud of how it turned out.
LESBIANS CANON
I know approximately zero about deltarune but based on the memes I keep seeing the crocodile one should stop letting the blue one use the GPS
Fun cute little fact: Hops - what they make beer with - does not get its name for anything related to beer. Hops are the rabbit equivalent of catnip, and they’ll go nuts and Hop around if they eat some. Here’s a little bunny after eating some hops:
Is this true
here are some things I just heard:
a door slamming
someone exclaim “oh, you sneaky bastard”
the sound of a bell jingling down the hallway
someone at the end of the hallway gasping “hello beautiful!!” in that very special I’m-talking-to-an-unexpected-cat voice
some things I heard myself:
a light thud
someone exclaiming “listen here, one of us can see in the dark and it’s not me, so we’re gonna have to figure this out”
a meow
literally every minor sound from the street carries up to us since it’s so narrow, last year this happened:
a deep voice going “HEY”
me immediately concerned, it is dark, what is happening
same deep voice: “WHAT DO YOU HAVE”
the playful jingling of dog tags
“WHAT DO YOU HAVE IN YOUR MOUTH”
jingle jingle jingle
id continued: The dialogue box is edited to say ''Hey, you little piss baby. You think you're so fucking cool? Huh? You think you're so fucking tough? You talk a lotta big game for someone with such a small truck. Aw, look at those arms, your arms look so fucking cute, they look like lil' cigarettes. I bet I could smoke you, I could roast'' before getting cut off. end id
so anyway
i have far too much power now. no one can stop me. i can make anyone’s (wktd-related) shitposts come to life
mod download soon i guess
PLEASE DO NOT THINK FOR EVEN A SECOND THAT YOUR VOICE WILL NOT HAVE AN IMPACT THIS IS LITERALLY THE BARE MINIMUM
I'm sorry for putting this in the BLM and stop Asian hate tag but in the last few days posts tagged with "Palestine" have not been showing up.
The proposed arms sale comes in the midst of intense fighting in the Gaza Strip.
@ my USA people you don’t know how to protest or perhaps you don’t have the opportunity to be vocal about your opposition to apartheid and genocide? until may 25th, call your congressmen and your senators, email them, write to them relentlessly every day as much as possible to stop this arm sale. from what i’ve gathered from this article it may be nonbinding but this is a call from Lara @ gazangirl on instagram, an international lawyer who’s been trying day in and day out to mobilise people behind the palestinian cause and who’s been heavily and systematically censored by instagram. it’s an opportunity to do something useful and make your stance heard. encourage ppl around u to do the same and raise hell against the biden administration to let them know you won’t stand for your money being used to participate in the occupation and ethnic cleansing in occupied palestine, the open-air prison of gaza included. PLEASE.
the reason why you have until may 25th is because the congress was notified on MAY 5th of this weapons sale, effectively starting the 20-day period to object to it. time is of the essence.
Genuine question, though I don’t know if this is the right place to ask. How would I go about doing this? Do I call my representatives from both the Senate and House and say something like:
“Hi, my name is [NAME] and I’m a constituent from [MY TOWN]. I’m calling because I oppose the Biden administration’s weapons sale to Israel. I urge [REPRESENTATIVE] to oppose the weapons sale to Israel. Congress must block this sale in order to meaningfully protect the lives of the population of Palestine.”
Does that work or would I have to be more specific?
Hi, here are some pointers to add to what you wrote:
1. Start by addressing the representative by name
2. Mention the crime of apartheid committed by Israel
3. Mention the attack on press freedom that occured when Israel levelled the building hosting the Associated Press and Al Jazeera as an attempt to censor fact-based reporting in Gaza
4. Mention that your tax-payer money is being used to massacre civilians with 200 civilians, including whole families
5. End with a call to action: “I urge you to make a stand against the sale of weapons to Israel and bring an end to the massacre of innocents, including women and children as young as one year old”
I’m not a pro but I’m sure there are a lot of examples online so don’t hesitate to look on google for some inspiration. And thank you for doing this!!
something about aba therapy that i feel is worth noting:
aba therapists are the only type of therapists in the united states that are not required to have a college degree in order to practice. the vast majority of aba therapists i’ve met don’t have one.
then what are the requirements, you may ask?
be at least 18. have a high school diploma. complete a few hours of general training.
that’s it.
they’re also allowed to teach your child literally whatever they want. i saw a video of someone the other day who was put thru aba as a child. they were obsessed with the color blue, so what did the aba therapist do? gave every child in their class except them a blue piece of paper for weeks until they stopped crying about it. aka, until they were too numb to the emotional pain of being left out to react anymore.
i guess the end goal was to make them…not like…the color blue anymore? like, seriously. what was the point of that???
they teach children to smile on command even when they don’t feel happy. they teach autistic children not to stim - something that has been proven not only beneficial but necessary for autistic people’s wellbeing.
they can withhold water, food, or affection from your child until the child complies with whatever behavior they want them to complete. i wish i was joking.
this is literal child abuse.
the only therapy that does not require a degree to practice, abusive as hell, manipulative, they are literally allowed to teach your child whatever the hell they want…and yet it’s also the only therapy for autistic children that is covered by most insurance companies.
make it make sense.
When you watch ABA training in action, you realize that it’s dog training. It’s dog training a human child who can’t advocate for better treatment or more respect. I hate it with every fiber of my being.
Hoolyyy shit @thisqueerchipmunk - this is blowing my mind
Carol Millman, a professional dog trainer, compares ABA to dog training in this powerful expose.
This should be required reading for neurotypicals

@pregnantseinfeld informed me that I was in a Buzzfeed article (with @creamynut and @bootyscientist2) a few months ago and had no idea.
Turns out that Buzzfeed just embeds Tumblr posts.
So if they take a post you’re in and say, embed it from your blog:
You can go back to the post and edit it to whatever you want and it will appear in the article like that. So you can do things like add “pay me royalties” 100 times
and upload 10 pictures of Waluigi in the T Pose
And ruin the article formatting.
update:
the comment section is coming for you buzzfeed

“But, how do a stateless people engage with anarchism, a term that implies opposition to some form of state as a condition of its existence?”

Palestinian Anarchists in Conversation: Recalibrating Anarchism in a Colonized Country
In Palestine, elements of popular struggle have historically often been self-organized. Even if not explicitly identified as “anarchism” as such, “People have already done horizontal, or non-hierarchical, organizing all their lives,” says Beesan Ramadan, another local anarchist, who describes anarchism as a “tactic” yet questions the need to attach a label. She continues, “It is already there in my culture and in the way Palestinian activism has worked. During the First Intifada, for instance, when someone’s home was demolished, people would organize to rebuild it, almost spontaneously. As a Palestinian anarchist I look forward to going back to the roots of the First Intifada. It did not come from a political decision. It came against the will of the PLO
The Palestinian case has been further complicated in recent decades. The landscape of largely horizontal self-organization in the First Intifada, was displaced in 1993 with the signing of the Oslo Accords and the top-down Palestinian Authority (PA) they created. “Now here in Palestine,” Ramadan observes, “we don’t have the meaning of authority that other people defy…We have the PA and the occupation, and our priorities are always mixed up. The PA and the Israelis [are on] the same level because the PA is a tool for the Israelis to oppress the Palestinians.” Nimer also shares this view, arguing it has now spread much more widely and that many now see the PA as a “proxy-occupation”.
“Being an anarchist doesn’t mean having the black and red flag or going black bloc,” Ramadan points out, referring to the established anarchist protest tactic of wearing all-black clothing and covering faces. “I don’t want to imitate any western group in the way that they ‘do’ anarchism…it is not going to work here, because you need to create a whole consciousness of the people. People don’t understand this concept.”
(…)
For Ramadan, nationalism also represents a significant problem. “People need nationalism in times of struggle,” she concedes, “[But] it sometimes becomes an obstacle… You know what the negative sense of nationalism means? It means you only think as Palestinians, that Palestinians are the only ones who are suffering in the world.” Nimer also adds, “You’re talking about sixty years of occupation and ethnic cleansing, and sixty years of resisting that through nationalism. That’s too long, it’s unhealthy. People can go from nationalist to fascist, quite quickly.”
This is relevant to most Indigenous resistance movements

Unironically leftist parties / coops / associations / etc should be looking at every charity currently being controlled by a religious authority of some kind and creating a direct replacement to those services which does not require the individual to submit to any particular ideology or authority to receive services. Where I’m from clothing drives were huge because people couldn’t afford to get clothes for their kids. Do you have any idea how powerful it is for conservative organizations to fulfill that type of welfare? That sort of thing is precisely why rural people in the USA genuinely believe that conservatives are “Fighting for their rights” or whatever.
This is something we definitely need more of!
Food Not Bombs is one organization worth getting involved in. I know my local one does three hot meal shares a week, has a weekly “free market” for clothing and toiletry items, and distributes groceries, pet items, and menstrual products. Every group is independently organized, though, so your local one may vary - and you may have the opportunity to add something based on the needs of your community.
If you know about any leftist organizations doing things like this, add them to this post!
To add on, look into your local interfaith orgs! While non religious mutual aid is super important, religion/religious community IS vital to some religious people. Interfaith orgs especially are committed to compassion and understanding between different religions, and are usually way less insistent you agree with them than like an evangelical church.
Additionally, religious orgs have more experience in filling needs that non religious groups may overlook such as:
Do you know any kosher or halal recipes for your soup kitchen? Off the top of your head, can you tell me what makes a meal kosher or halal?
If a homeless Muslim woman needs a new hijab, do you have any to give her? What about a kippah for a Jewish man? Do you have any headscarves for orthodox christian women or Mennonite women? Do you list any of these items on your clothing drive donation lists?
Does your free little library have copies of religious affiliated texts that will resonate with religious people? (Many religious ppl believe leftists want to eradicate religion esp after stalin infamously banned Christian orthodox practices in the Soviet union-something MANY older russian orthodox Christians remember)
Does your homeless shelter have any prayer mats or shabbat candles? Do you know where to get them? Do you know how to select the correct ones?
Not all of these are essential to surviving but it does demonstrate compassion for people and recognizes their nonphysical needs. It also cuts into the power of conservative religious groups by demonstrating that others care. And just like idk how else to say it but….religious people deserve to be treated respectfully and have their spiritual needs considered. You don’t have to agree with them and if they’re bigots you certainly don’t have to cater to that but religious people overall do deserve at least some small considerations.
As a final note, I’ve focused on abrahamic religions for this bc that’s what I know but different places have different prominent religions! Also if you’re delivering mutal aid to Native American communities, ask about their religious needs and what you can do to accommodate them.
Religious people deserve to be treated respectfully and have their spiritual needs considered.
This is an excellent point! I tend to emphasize local groups anyway, but definitely look for local interfaith orgs since the religious makeup and needs of your community will be unique.
