You had been waking up before dawn. Every day. Entirely against your will. Though Hua tried to be quiet, you were too light a sleeper to remain undisturbed when she left the bed to go on her morning run. On this particular day, you rose to intercept her in the bathroom.
Hua was brushing her hair when you entered. She glanced at you through the mirror as you closed your eyes against the sudden brightness. Before you could feel around for the light switch, she had turned it off for you.
Nonetheless, you still let out a whine of complaint. You tried to blink away the afterimage of the bathroom lights as you spoke.
“It's the weekend…” you said. “Do you have to?”
Hua didn't laugh, but you could hear the faint smile in her voice as she replied.
“Weekends are no excuse to skip out on training.”
In the dim light of predawn, you watched her finish tying her hair. She put a hand on her hip and tilted her head to look at you.
“Go back to sleep,” she said. “I'll be back before you wake again. Unless… you're here to join me?”
“No!”
Your response was immediate, and Hua let out a soft breath. She stepped forward and reached to cup your cheek with one hand. At this range, you could see the furrow of her brow as she scanned over your face.
“You've been losing too much sleep lately,” she said, voice stern yet clearly tinged with worry. “Like you said, it's the weekend. Rest.”
“I can't go back to sleep by myself…”
A lie, and you both knew it, but you had other ways of convincing her. You looped your arms over her shoulders and leaned to rest your chin in the crook of her neck. She easily shifted to hold you by the waist. Her breath fanned over your hair as she let out an indulgent sigh.
“Maybe some exercise will tire you out, then,” she teased.
“No!”
This time, Hua did laugh. She pulled you closer to press a light kiss to your cheek.
“Alright… just for today,” she murmured. “You know I can never say no to you.”
You hummed and snuggled into her hair, making no move to turn back to the bedroom. Hua sighed again. She knew what you were asking for.
With impressive ease, she bent to scoop your legs up from under you and held you to her chest, bridal style. You tucked your arms against your own chest as she carried you the short distance from the bathroom to the bedroom… before tossing you unceremoniously onto the bed.
The mattress bounced beneath your weight and you yelped, but your attempt to glare up at her had no effect. She merely bent down to kiss you again before crawling into bed beside you. With a sigh, you turned to bury your face in her hair once again.
“You are so mean to me,” you mumbled.
“Go to sleep,” she said, looping an arm around your waist.
You huffed, but didn't protest further. Outside, the sun had begun to shine its first rays of light through the curtains. And here, in the arms of your beloved, you drifted back to sleep.

I had an absolutely magical experience the first time I played botw. I went into it completely blind and had no idea that there were dragons in the game
So picture this: I am crossing the bridge at lake hylia for the first time. I have only seen bokoblins and the occasional moblin. In the distance, at that circle at the center of the bridge—a few lizalfos hanging out. I approach. As I jog across the stones, wind begins to pick up. I hear a soft flute and piano in the background.
I stop and look around, because why is this music playing? What special encounter have I walked into? And up in the sky is Farosh, flying in a languid arc over the bridge. I go completely still, not even moving the camera as I watch it pass over the bridge and down into the water. I am confused and awed and scared. Are the lizalfos its children? If I keep going am I going to have to fight that dragon??
I imagine this is the closest I would come to being a peasant in some ye olde fantasy world seeing a dragon for the first time and having the fear of god put into them bc holy shit that moment is one I will never forget
And then later I lost all reverence for this dragon after I tried and failed a million times to get a shard of its horn for the champion's tunic bc WHY CAN'T YOU JUST STAY STILL I JUST NEED A PIECE YOU WON'T MISS IT
oh my fucking god this is like. the most beautiful thing i’ve ever heard. this sounds like such a magical experience to have while playing botw. i felt a similar amount of majesty for the dragons when i first played (YEARS ago, when i was like 14). the music and the wind and just the way everything feels like it stops when they approach is SO wonderful. only gets better in totk.
As soon as you described playing papa's freezeria while Hanneman is lecturing it just gave me a vivid mental image of the blue lions playing kahoot and Sylvain topping the leaderboard while both Felix and Annette are so fucking mad they can't catch up

This was technically 3 hopes actually lol I was w Dimitri and the lions right before we were going to take back Fhirdiad in chapter 3. But for some reason when we were preparing for battle we all went to this auditorium at my college and. Started taking canvas quizzes??? On like combat and shit???? And I was totally blowing it lmao I was somehow getting like 1.79% on 10 question multiple choice quizzes which. Honestly is kinda impressive LOL like where did I even get the decimals from
lmao????? this is so fucking funny????? and also kind of inspiring a modern fantasy officers academy AU????? where they still like are nobles and have crests and stuff but like they also have iphones and canvas quizzes. i’m kind of obsessed with this. imagine being in a giant auditorium playing papa’s freezeria while hanneman lectures on reason or some shit. this is unreasonably entertaining to me, like i’m getting major ever after high vibes. new AU dropped maybe?????

- bernie has your typical fandom blog. i don’t entirely know what fandoms she would be involved with, but she is a PROLIFIC fanfic writer and very chronically online
- ignatz has an art blog. i think he makes mostly OC art with some smatterings of fanart, and he does commissions. notably, felix commissions ignatz to make his pfp and all the banner art for his twitch profile, as well as art of his dnd character.
- marianne makes those memes with the horses and the cursive writing. i don’t know how else to describe them but im sure you know what im talking about. her blog just has a slightly distressed tone to it all the time.

Byleth had a mostly empty blog until one day they received some random anons that they answered and it somehow snowballed into an advice blog. At some point one of the students (maybe Claude) puts together that this blog is their professor from the academy and from there Byleth starts getting a deluge of asks from the tumblr kids ranging from actual advice to memes to asks that make them say "once again, weird, but not a sin"
Dedue runs a recipe blog about food from Duscur and how to prepare them w foreign ingredients for people who've moved away from home. It is insanely popular
Ashe probably got inspired by Dedue and decided to start his own recipe blog but about food that can be delicious and healthy while using cheap/food stamp ingredients bc the economy is in shambles

Dimitri doesn't like pokemon. He doesn't DISlike it exactly… but his first game was scarlet/violet and when he was told to send his pokemon out into the field to wreak havoc on the local wild pokemon who are just minding their own business he had to put it down :( even if these are just pixels on a screen and code in a game, he can't take the senseless violence 😔
Dedue plays digimon. Like the original line of games where it was basically a tamagotchi. He's kept his very first mon from when he was a little kid and still checks it regularly. I unfortunately don't know enough about the digimon franchise to properly expand upon the gameplay aspect (so if there are digimon fans in the comments give me your headcanons 👀). Anyone who tries to dunk on digimon as being just a pokemon clone gets a silent stare from Dedue until they get uncomfortable and walk away
