I hate reading things where Slider's role in Ice's life is completely diminished. Yes Maverick becomes important to Ice, yes Maverick becomes one of his best friends (and more) but that doesn't mean that Slider's just disappeared.

He's still going to be there, still going to be Ice's best friend and one of the most important people in his life. Slider can exist with Icemav, he doesn't need to be forgotten or made to be less important.
