HOW WOULD TWILIGHT BEING ANOTHER TYPE OF PONY WORK?

I just saw someone drawing how the main 6 would look if they were another type of pony, and leaving aside the design now I'm just thinking how would all the "twilight is the element of magic" work.

Like, maybe it would be like sunny that temporarily becomes an alicorn,but I think it could be awesome if twilight being another type of pony just became a way of showing how all types of pony have a different way of showing magic like g5 didi but instead of changing temporarily the type of pony, twilight just stayed the same as a way of showing kids that even if you don't seem to be made for something you can do it your own way without having to change who you are just so other people/pony don't look at you like a freak just because "you're not an unicorn, you're not supposed to have/use magic" or "you're not an unicorn, why you wanna study magic?, that's a waste of time" or whatever our human equivalent is.

I think that if we ever have or created Hawaii part I it would tell Stella's pov because she's the part of him that Simon lost so she would be the part of the musical that we don't have, the one that completes the couple and gives sense to the story and gives us the real context
