There are so many things out here. And sometimes it’s scary. But that’s ok. Because it’s still just you and me.
Room (2015) dir. Lenny Abrahamson
Apparently, “El Dorado” is native for… “great big rock!” Hey, but I’ll tell you what: I’m feeling generous, so you can have my share! Tulio, you don’t think Cortés could’ve gotten here before us and, and - And what? Taken all the really big rocks? The scoundrel!

endless list of favorite movies ⇢ Lord of the Rings Trilogy (2001-2003) dir. Peter Jackson

get to know me meme: favourite books [1/10] — the lord of the rings (1954) by j.r.r. tolkien
I expect they had lots of chances, like us, of turning back, only they didn’t. And if they had, we shouldn’t know, because they’d have been forgotten. We hear about those as just went on, and not all to a good end, mind you; at least not to what folk inside a story and not outside it call a good end. You know, coming home, and finding things all right, though not quite the same; like old Mr Bilbo. But those aren’t always the best tales to hear, though they may be the best tales to get landed in! I wonder what sort of a tale we’ve fallen into?
