is that daisy knight , rocking the new balenciaga ? wow , she looks just like sabrina carpenter ! last i heard , she is a twenty - three year old elite from port gibson , mississippi . she’s a well known musician who likes to bake things from scratch in her free time , and despises cynical people . i think she’ll do fine at the berry , since she seems to be gentle ; but i don’t know , others have said she’s quite demoralized as well !
born to a small town in mississippi, daisy rose knight never thought much would happen for her but her parents knew from a young age that she had a gifted voice
she originally just sang in choir and school talent shows and musicals but eventually started to branch out and singing at state fairs and the like
she never thought her voice was anything special until she started getting recognition from outside of her parents and the church
when she was fourteen, she was approached by a record executive from a contemporary christian music label which solidified daisy's confidence in her gift.
she moved out to nashville when she was in her sophomore year of high school to pursue a music career
by the time she was sixteen, she released her debut album, his grace and was blowing up in the contemporary christian music scene
tw for grooming/predatory relationship - when she started working on her second album, she started working with an acclaimed producer who showed her the ropes. they started a secret relationship. it seemed perfect at first, as many of these relationships do, but was full of power imbalances, gaslighting, and manipulation. end of tw
pregnancy tw daisy became pregnant, out of wedlock, and when the word got out...the christian contemporary music scene that once loved her, completely shunned her and the producer denied being the father vehemently end of tw
she's now trying to rebuild her career and get back to who she used to be before everything happened, her faith is still a huge part of her life but she's beginning to question things a bit more as time goes on
she's taking being on this reality show as a way to try to get her name back out there after she was shunned by the ccm community
personality wise, she's very gentle and loving but also quite immature and naive
her bio goes into much more detail but please be cognizant of the trigger warnings <3
if asked , mel would be one of those who was shocked that the situation happened at all . that was the kind of attitude that got people so sued in court , it wasn't even funny . mel would not be treating this like it was a laughing matter , and honestly , nobody deserved that , in her opinion . didn't matter what else went on . “ oh , but yeah , that's true . it's , like , one of those things where it's like . yeah , that happened to me , but i wouldn't be who i am today without it . ” which she understood . although at first glance , it wouldn't seem as though mel had a single struggle in her life , there were instances where she felt slighted , and cheated , and like she would never make it through . especially her last case , it was so high - profile , so tempting to run away from what it brought her with stress . but she didn't , and it made her a better person for sure . “ listen . it's so bad that you went through that , but like , if you got something super good ? it kinda makes it worth it . ” ( belated : oh , god , someone's going to clip that , but it was too late . ) besides , she promised she would be authentic no matter what .
the laugh echoed . “ yes ! oh , my god . she was , like , my biggest inspiration when i was little . i was so enamoured , i swear . ” though , of course , mel found out later on that wasn't the only reason she was enamoured with women . “ someone's gotta stick up for those who cannot for themselves . it is so sick what some people are forced to go through . ” she wanted to talk about it , but was it a bad idea ? maybe not if she didn't use names .
daisy nodded as melody talked because she agreed with her. she wouldn't be where she was today without the hardships she faced and she wouldn't have the light of her life, christina, without it. " yeah, it's exactly like that. like, i don't think i would be who i am without going through that. " daisy smiles and nods once again. " i wouldn't trade anything in the world for christina so yeah...it's totally worth it. " she didn't always have such a positive mindset about the whole ordeal but after a lot of introspection and therapy, she was finally getting to that place.
" i remember watching it for the first time a few years back and it was such a fun movie. my parents never let me watch it as a kid but as an adult, i really appreciated it. " her parents were a little on the stricter side when it came to raising her which she never minded but it did set her back behind her peers a little bit. " yeah, it seems awful what some people go through. i can't imagine being accused of something i didn't do. "
wants to roll her eyes again at the irritating way the blonde had accepted the cocktail, as if the person behind the makeshift bar was handing her a nuclear bomb but noa decides against it, was having too much fun to allow daisy's self-righteousness to dampen her day. ' try it, it's not gonna kill you. ' fem giggles, bringing own daiquiri to her red brims, drinking almost half before the other girl even allowed her own drink to wet her lips. ' i think you'll like it, it's basically juice and as long as you don't have too many, you'll be okay. ' shrugs at the question daisy poses, brunette was going to be nice today, decides against informing daisy that the woman she believed to be perfect for her was incredibly lacklustre and mind numbingly dull. ' nobody. she just left actually. now drink up and i can show you more of my fave cocktails that would be perfect for you! '
try it, it's not going to kill you. she has heard this kind of thing before from other people who were always trying to get her to loosen up a bit. it wasn't her fault, she was raised by loving but strict parents who were fiercely protective of her. it was hard to unlearn some of the things that were instilled in her. nevertheless, she tries the drink and it's not half bad. noa is right, it is kind of like juice. "mmmm..." she says as she takes another sip. "thanks for recommending this to me, it's good!" she gives her a smile, oblivious to the fact that noa is probably internally rolling her eyes at this very moment. "as long as they're as tasty as this one, i'm down!" she says with a giggle. "not too many though, i don't want to like...black out." she's never done that before and she doesn't want to start tonight.
she watches daisy intently , as if she was a fish out of water . but she's taken aback when she completes the shot without any failure . ❝ wow , daisy ! ❞ laughing and clapping simultaneously , she gives the blonde a pair of thumbs up . ❝ i'm actually impressed ; have you had practice doing that ? ❞ while a joke , anisa is internally questioning if she's done anything that could be considered reckless since at their time at the berry , she hasn't seen her do much . she takes her last shot and hands the other one to daisy before parting away from the booth . ❝ you know , i didn't really like you at a first — but actually , you're not that bad . ❞
daisy is surprised when anisa seems impressed because she was so sure that she fumbled doing the shot. " it wasn't that bad? " she asks with a sheepish smile. she was so sure that she had done a horrible job that she's impressed with herself. she laughs at anisa's joke, not really answering it because answering a question like that seems uncouth. she's unsure of how to act once anisa says she used to not like her. she silently chastises herself for making someone not like her, always her harshest critic. "you didn't like me? did i do something wrong or...?" maybe it was just a case of personalities clashing but daisy couldn't help but wonder if she could've done something differently. she feels badly that she made a bad impression on anisa at first even if that wasn't the case anymore.
eyes narrow in suspicion towards the rather sweet woman in front of her, but a small smile is forced onto her face as to not seem too rude ( not that she usually cared, but there was surprisingly nothing about the other to warrant any hard feelings ... so far, at least. ) " sure, yeah, i will. uh... " brows furrowed slightly in response to the offer, " i'm imara. i think i've seen you 'round before, " the pair embarked on their trek towards the shopping area as the fitness influencer glanced over at the other, " you're part of this stupid reality show too, yeah ? "
daisy isn't sure what to make of imara, so far, she seems nice enough. but she also is kind of intimidated by the other, she seems so much cooler than daisy. daisy feels like most people are cooler than her, though but imara especially so. "i'm daisy, it's nice to meet you. imara is such a pretty name." she gives her a small smile. she's not sure she would call this reality show stupid but she nods anyway. "yeah, i'm excited to be a part of it."
“of course! first come first serve, but there’s more than enough to go around,” she hands the s’more over to daisy as she scoots over to one side, leaving enough space open for the blonde to sit and join in on the fun if she felt so inclined. “have you gone in the water yet? play any of the games?”
"thank you! these look delicious." there was something so comforting about s'mores to daisy. they reminded her of a simpler time. daisy sits down beside lucille and takes a bit of the smore. between bites and going mmmmmm, she answers, "i haven't yet, actually. some of the games look fun. i love the whole vibe, it reminds me of state fairs i used to sing as a kid."
❛ i think you're onto something because that just wasn't cutting it anymore . not that it ever was but — ❜ he shrugs , catching sight of the booth he should've went to a long time ago instead of torturing himself with beer this entire time . ❛ you think the light is serving mocktails right now ? i mean , i'm sure you're not the only one that's going nonalcoholic for the night , they've gotta have something to suit everybody's tastes . ❜
daisy feels rather silly for suggesting that she got a mocktail for herself when she wasn't even sure they had mocktails at this event. it hadn't occurred to her that they wouldn't but she figures she's the only one who's going to be partaking in the offer if they do have them. " do you think i should try something else? i don't even know if they serve mocktails. " she lets out a nervous laugh.
he tries , again , to take a sip of his drink but jiseok just doesn't have it in him to finish it . he'd much rather have water or tea — and god knows how much he hated the taste of tea . he can't help but to pout as he passes the beer off to someone that was probably way too drunk already , just happy to know they'd enjoy it much more than him . ❛ yeah , it's ... not good . i don't think i'll ever believe the people that say they enjoy the taste of it . even the flavored stuff is gross . ❜
daisy feels bad that jiseok is trying to finish the beer when he clearly doesn't like it. but she can relate to that all too well, she'd probably try to do the same thing to avoid coming off as rude to whomever served her the drink. " maybe you can find a cocktail that you like, something a little sweeter? " daisy suggests. " i think i myself might try a mocktail. "
mel could not help the super genuine mouth drop that happened . though she liked to think that she was up on the news , the christian music scene was not something she kept track of , because it had never crossed her radar . hearing that this had happened to daisy was so ridiculous to her that she openly scoffed . nose turned up in one of those avid sneers . “ i … cannot believe this happened to you . are you serious ? they cast you out because of that ? sure , you're young or whatever , but like . come on . i am so not down with this jesus vibe they're selling . ” do not judge or whatever, and that did sound super judgmental from where melody was standing . shaking their head , clucking their tongue on the roof of their mouth, mel rolled their eyes for good measure . “ i'm sorry you lost all that , but that so reflects more on , like , how absolutely not jesus they are . do unto others or , something . ” that sounded more like an american idiom, but she thought it also sounded spiritual .
speaking on her own career , mel emitted immediate content energy . it was a difficult job to be sure , with a lot to do , but she was always happy to talk about it due to how much hard work she put into it . “ yeah so i'm , like , a defence attorney ? it's the big guy who goes up on the stand for guilty people . i've had some celeb clients , but . i really like making sure the wrongfully accused get totally out of the tin cracker box . ” she nodded , approving of her own motive .
daisy was used to this kind of reaction when she told people about her situation. people were always shocked. maybe they were shocked because they never expected someone like daisy to be in that situation, and believe her, neither did daisy. or maybe they were shocked because of how awful the entire thing sounded. " yeah, it was a really intense and swift backlash. but i think i grew stronger because of it. " she always tries to put a good spin on the situation even though it sometimes felt like there was no silver lining. " thank you. it was really hard at first, you know, dealing with what i've lost but now i just think about what i've gained." namely, her daughter, christina who was her entire world.
"oh, so you're like elle woods or something!" she says with a laugh. that's really her only exposure to law besides copyright law due to being in the music industry. "that's so cool that you go to bat for people who are wrongfully convicted."
❝ well , i thought i'd ask because i wasn't sure if you get down like that . ❞ she emits truthfully , fully aware of daisy's innocent nature and quite flabbergasted by it . quickly signing the receipt handed to her by the bartender , she retrieves her credit card with her a hundred percent of her attention now focused on the shots . ❝ no , silly ! you don't just drink them . you take them in like how you would . . . a blowjob . ❞ a giggle fleeing glossy brims , lowering her head down to one of the plastic cups . ❝ like , open your mouth and put the shot in it , and then lift your head up to swallow it . no pun intended ! ❞ she completes the said instructions to show the blonde just how to do it correctly , wiping the leftover whipped cream off her mouth . ❝ and it does taste good , too . okay , now you try . ❞
" even if i didn't get down like that, i feel like it's kind of impossible to not know what a blowjob is. " she says with a small laugh. she doesn't really get down like that, but that's neither here nor there. daisy knew she was more on the innocent side and she could often come across as quite naive so anisa's question didn't really surprise her that much. daisy stares intently at the other as she explains how to do a blowjob shot and then demonstrates. " okay, that doesn't sound too complicated. " she's still unsure of herself though. so when she tries to copy what anisa did, she does so with difficulty. when she's finished with the shot, she gives anisa a small smile. " did i do okay? i know i must've looked pretty stupid. "
❝ look , there's just no way you're twenty - something and haven't done a blowjob shot . ❞ unable to comprehend or believe the blonde's lack of entertainment in her life . first , never having played air hockey and now , this . feeling a bit sympathetic , anisa orders four of the said shots . ❝ okay , i've realized you don't know a lot of things so do you at least know what a blowjob is ? ❞ laughing at the humorous inquiry while swapping her credit card with the bartender for the shots , handing two to daisy and placing the other two before her .
daisy couldn't believe her ears when anisa asked her if she had ever done a blowjob shot. not only had she never done one but she had no clue how to do one. she felt a little embarrassed at her lack of knowledge. " i guess i just don't drink that often...? " she offers up as a lame excuse as to why she's never done one. when anisa asks her if she knows what a blowjob is, she can't help but laugh. " of course i know what a blowjob is, i wasn't born yesterday, you know. " although it might seem like that to some people. staring at the shots quizzically, she looks at anisa. " okay, so what do i do exactly? do i just drink them? "
location : the bonfire pit
currently : open to everyone !
“i’m telling you, is a bonfire really a bonfire without s’mores? highly doubt it,” lucille muses to the camera as she’s huddled up by the fire pit, finishing her second s’more of the night with one hand and roasting marshmallows with the other. she wasn't sure the production crew would appreciate someone sneaking in their own food despite all the booths they've set up, but who can resist a little something homemade? she excitedly offers the s’more she just made to the nearest person passing by, extending an arm out as far as she can from where she's sitting. “you wanna try one? trust me, these don't disappoint.”
daisy was wandering around the place, not sure what to do. there were so many things she could do. when she stopped by the bonfire and was offered a s'more by lucille, she couldn't help but be excited. she hadn't had a s'more in a long time. "aw, i love s'mores!" she said with a wide smile appearing on her face. "thank you so much, i'd love one."
he's standing off to the side , out of people's way as he waits on his elote — what jiseok would swear up and down is the best food he's ever consumed . he has the same drink he's been nursing for fifteen minutes in hand , fighting the urge to dump it out or hand it to the next person to pass by him . he attempts to take another sip , making a face at the bitterness — it was safe to say he hated beer . ❛ i knew i should've went with shots instead . ❜
daisy is trying to have fun but it's hard when everyone is drinking and alcohol isn't something that's in her nature to partake in. sure, she had a glass of wine here and there but nothing like this. when she saw jiseok grimace at his drink choice, she couldn't help but sympathize. "i know what you mean. i'm not the biggest beer fan either." or alcohol fan in general but she didn't want to be accused of being a goody two shoes this early into the night even if she was one.
the person fem had been conversing with at the bar turned out to be incredibly dull, boring, kept asking about the cameras following noa's every move while constantly waving and mouthing hi, mom every five minutes so noa insisted that they disappear from her eye line. bartender passes her another strawberry daiquiri and just before noa could take a sip of the sweet beverage, the grating voice of daisy knight is heard. and she rolls her eyes, before turning to face the blonde girl. at the question other fem poses, noa tilts her head toward the camera and makes a face one could only describe as the jim halpert look before looking back to her. ' strawberry daiquiri. it's good. ' informs the other, signalling the bartender to prepare another for daisy. ' what a coincidence, i was just talking to someone who would be perfect for you ! '
daisy had never had a strawberry daiquiri which would surprise exactly nobody because she was notoriously the kind of person to shy away from alcohol and anything that could further taint her girl next door image. she notices the eye roll of noa but decides not to say anything, not wanting to cause any sort of rift. she was the kind of person who never wanted to make anyone upset. "oh, who were you talking to?" she asks, curiously and quite naively.
most of the time, if imara was ever spotted outside of her room, it typically meant she was going to the gym; maybe out to get a veggie burger, but not as often. stopping right in her tracks, imara snapped her head around, moving one side of her headphones off of her ear. no one ever came to her for shopping advice. she squinted, not quite recognizing the face that went with the equally unfamiliar voice, " uhm, " thin, straight brows furrowed with her monotonous english accent, " i don't do much shopping here. although, " the fitness influencer looked down at her bellport bucket bag, gesturing towards it with her chin, " ralph lauren has some pretty cute stuff, i guess. "
daisy wasn't the kind of person who took risks, especially when it came to fashion. she was always worried about what people, especially people back at home, would think of her if she changed up her look too much. she was trying to get out of her comfort zone a bit more which was why she was asking for fashion advice. "i don't do much shopping here either but maybe i should start." she gives imara a warm smile and says, "thanks for the suggestion! i'll have to check out their selection. do you wanna come with me? i could use an extra set of eyes."

daisy was kind of, okay no, totally a goody two shoes so seeing her in the berry nightclub was a rare sight. but she figured she needed to put herself out there more and push herself outside of her comfort zone. this was definitely pushing herself outside of comfort zone and you could tell. she looked lost like she'd never been in a club before. she wasn't sure what to do so she went to the bar. when she saw noa, she simply asked, "what are you drinking?"

location : inside the mall
daisy was overwhelmed with the amount of shops in the mall. growing up in a small town, she was never exposed to such luxuries until she ventured out of the small town at the age of fourteen. she was still overwhelmed, after all of these years. "i don't even know which shop to start in, there are so many," daisy said to imara. "what's your favorite store here? maybe i should start there."
