I’ve mainly seen the TMA/TME stuff used to justify excluding enby and trans masc folks from the community, which directly weakens us when we’re actively being persecuted by transphobic governments who don’t fucking care if we’re TMA or TME. They just see we're trans and that's it. The patriarchy is not trans inclusive, and transphobia directed at trans men often involves infantilising them as “deceived woman tricked into transitioning.” Trans men can’t fully benefit from male privilege if transphobes (AKA, the people in power,) don’t believe that trans men are men.
Like it's shooting us in the foot when TERF island is being funded by Joanne and the Republican party desperately wants us fucking dead. But instead we're treating trans men as an "oppressor class" whose the real threat, and not the transphobes who want us both dead? Like I'm sorry but I'm just so disappointed seeing you participate in rhetoric that damages any attempts at solidarity. The person who coined the term trans-misogyny even actively rejects the idea that trans men are "privileged."

I don't even know if this will convince you. (It probably won't because people don't change their minds.) But seeing people who try and defend trans men's place in the community get harassed and falsely flagged anti-trans on Shinigami Eyes makes me scared to interact with anyone who participates in this discourse. Understand how this looks to any trans person who's not into online discourse seeing all this self destructive infighting and harassment. It scares us and it scares me.

Clothing company Patagonia is currently suing drag queen Pattie Gonia for "irreparable” harm to their brand.
To be clear; Pattie named herself after the region in South America.
So Pattie is asking people to politely ask Patagonia to drop the lawsuit.
I'm extending the invitation to all of you, because suing a drag queen for 'infringement' in the current political cultural landscape is vile. Especially a drag queen who has raised millions of dollars for non-profits, uses her platform to raise awareness for climate activism, and fully aligns with Patagonia's apparent climate-conscious mission statement.
They're claiming they're suing for $1. They're actually asking her to stop using her name, and pay over $1 million in legal fees. They're straight up harassing her.
In contrast, drag queen Jan Sport has a Jansport bag line. It's that easy to just... work with a queen.
Anyway. Be respectful(ish), but feel free to be annoying on Patagnoia's socials, asking them to 'DROP THE LAWSUIT'

I really hate that so many people in the TADC fandom turned out to be a pain in the neck. It feels just like a scenario where the entire class gets detention because A FEW people were having food fight.
A good chunk of us are normal about the show and love the creator's work, but it seems like she's given up on this fandom for a while now because of the louder and more volatile fans.
To an extent I get there was some explanation why the ATLA leaks were spread, but TADC?? Glitch isn't some huge mega studio and Goose spent YEARS on this project. It's so utterly disappointing that some of you don't even have the self control to wait for the official releases. It won't kill anyone to wait until June.
It’s years of labour amounted to a leak. If you have any empathy — if you're an artist yourself — you should really consider that.
I'm still 100% excited to watch this with my friends in theatres when it comes out! All the best to Glitch and Goose. Hopefully the person who leaked the finale gets some kind of consequence.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. Hippie church moms donating quinoa chips to my local food bank have done more for me materially than any internet idealist ever has.
People get pissed at me for being a pragmatist in my political ideals but I’ve been in the position where I was out of food right now.
And who helped me with that? Not people calling for some nebulous revolution. Not people telling me that the system was useless. Not people preaching at me to grow my own food. It was a church food bank partially funded by the state of Texas that some southern hippies donated a bunch of Whole Foods nonsense to.
And you know what? I’m sick and tired of defeatism. What can we get done right now, huh? Are you gonna accept something a bit better to help people right now or are you waiting for your perfect utopia to come to you?
Yeah, UBI is better than the quinoa chips. Sure. But right now the quinoa chips are stopping people from going hungry and if all we can do is get the food bank quinoa chips to more people, then I say so be it. That’s something. I’ll almost always take baby steps over nothing.

If you care about Animal Cruelty in Factory Farms, you need to get legislation passed. It must become a crime to mistreat animals in those ways, and when malfeasances occurs, the onus of responsibility for those crimes must fall upon wealthy shoulders. That, also, requires legislation. It requires regulations, and regulators.
The largest source of Microplastics is wear and tear on automobile tires. It doesn’t matter what brand of shampoo you buy. It doesn’t matter which company you support with your dollar. The issue of Public Transit is too large-scale to be handled at anything less than the municipal level.
It’s not enough to just not participate in society
If you want the world to Change, you must leverage the mechanisms of political power.
You need Government.
