Wait now I’m curious about Pent and Rhys. I know you ship them but I kinda wanna know the dynamic of their relationship, like who fell first and stuff.

Oh, their relationship sure was a process.
During Rhysmuth's early days, Pentumbra FREAKED him out. He was still getting used to existing, Teeter & Tauter were a handful from the start and then out of nowhere this spider lookin' thing cpuld just pop up from the shadows or hand from the ceiling, poor deer was lowkey terrified at first.
Pentumbra was worried that the new Quad (and the twins) doesn't like them. When Whaill questioned why they think that, Pentumbra looked at her with the most stone faces expression ever and said "They screamed, Whaill. That's why."
Luckily, Rhysmuth's wariness crumbled quite fast after he saw how Pentumbra managed to get along with the Tatertots and keep them occupied, allowing him to have a break here and there.
Pentumbra's built-in lamp, the ability to navigate flawlessly in the dark, the tricks they could do by crawling on the walls and ceiling and traveling through the shadows, the snow they could grab from Mirror Cold Island and over all the exrta helping hands with Teeter & Tauter turned Rhysmuth's original opinion of Pentumbra from "Oh my God you're terrifying, pleasedon'teatmyface-!" to "They're actually really cool. Bit of a weirdo, but a really cool one!"
Pentumbra was relieved that they managent to get along well with Rhysmuth and the twins eventually, although Pentumbra was still a bit shy and weird (not awkward! shy and weird, very important difference) around Rhysmuth from time to time.
Pentumbra ended up giving Rhysmuth the nickname "Izzy", Rhysmuth made Pentumbra smaller jewlery out of the crystals he collected, then absolutely melted after he saw them actually weari g them and it didn't take long for him to start flirting more openly.
Swiss was also silently crushing on Izzy by that time, but couldn't decide if Rhysmuth was just being himself around them, or if he was ACTUALLY flirting with them, (bless their heart).
Pentumbra ended up telling Whaill about this, and Whaill just immediately gave him a shout like "Rhys, Pentumbra has a crush on you! Do you like them?", meanwhile the poor spider was panicking next to her like "no, what are you doing?!", bht after Rhysmuth replied with the confirmation that yes, he DOES INFACT like them. A LOT! Pentumbra began flirting back. (and Rhysmuth still to this day melts almost every time that happens).
But yeah, their relationship was built through steps, from an awkward start to friends and then to a good and stable reationship. The two of them are really good at balancing eachother out, with Rhysmuth being that push Pentumbra sometimes needs to not get stuck in being neutral or not expressing their opinions, and Pentumbra being able to take over when Rhysmuth gets too stressed and needs a break to settle down, both mentally and physically. They really like eachother's quirks, with Pentumbra finding Izzy's deer traits usually pretty adorable, along with his nerdyness that he doesn't always show, And Rhysmuth loving the weirdo menace Pentumbra can be.
