Kid Pirates Month "Kid as King of the Pirates" | stickers & prints / linktr.ee

notes: i wanted to do more for this one, but realized that if i tried to do too much i would just feel intimidated and never get it done...and with this...we give a solemn goodbye to kid pirates month! i had such an absolute blast and i did way more than i thought i would. i gained some confidence i really didn't have at the start of this, particularly in digital art since i'm still fairly new with it. this has gotten me to draw more consistently than i ever have and makes me really want to do more work to explore my style and do more studies to solidify my foundations so i can draw a bit more freely. thank you so much to everyone who has followed along and a special thank you to @/gratefulcheese who put together the prompts for this month.

ps. quick unnecessary update on the see them kiss event: i will be working on my piece for the admiral collab (fujitora) and then I get to start on on the lovely kisses ya'll sent in :3

Fun Story to Share.

I got my (now 18-year-old) daughter into Ao3 back in 2021. I taught her she should always comment - even if the fic looks old or abandoned or whatever. She did.

Well - she got this email this morning:

The fic was written in 2014 and essentially abandoned.

Bethy read and reviewed in 2021 (and was actually the only person who had commented at all).

Today in 2025 - the final chapter was posted by the author and this was her reply to Bethy’s comment.

On a serious note people being unironically horny about cis men and referring to their chests as tits in their horny rantings has made me feel more comfortable as someone who is transmasc

Like I don't have huge dysphoria about my chest because I'm not very well endowed but I still have some and like thinking: "I'm a sexy dude with sexy tits" is actually a good feeling for me personally
