I’ve always seen Congi as more glitchy-dubstepy thing. Here’s something different!
If you haven't heard this classic jungle tune, you should.
The Spy From Cairo smuggles some arabic violin sections and guitar improvisations wrapped by slow dub essence...
Filling with positive energy, Guts takes us to a journey of magnificent trumpet samples and la laaaala lalaa la
An extraordinary voice of Peru born artist Elsiane. If you like trip-hop, downtempo - it’s a must-listen to.
Another track that stuck in my head for last couple of days. Well arranged samples, great melancholic voice and generally chilled vibe. Listen once and you play it over and over!
(Music starts at about 0:49)
What a great instrument - Talk box! Predecessor of modern vocal (and not only) effects. Is it possible that similar effect has been used for 2Pac California Love ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uWbXQQG9B6c )?
I couldn’t decide which of Pete Drake’s tracks performing on his Talkbox would be better... Have a look on another one:

Sometimes simplicity makes the tune.
A bit jazzy track, with some cool wobbly synth in a background and pretty good vocals. I think it could bring memories of that fleeting moment that you’d like to reexperience...
Few years ago good friend of mine introduced me to this great dub piece: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u3g7_yJP-To
After so many years turned out it’s a remix of the one above.. Hard to tell which one is more interesting!
I grew up on Prodigy. Their first album changed the way I perceive the music. So surprising to hear track that is a remix of the song that Prodigy used sample for Fire: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F1U0qvtQnE8

Coming back to Poland 70s.
After listening to “Voilaaa - Spies Are Watching Me” I realised there is so many genres I wouldn’t think of exploring...
Some Estonian Soul from 1981, straight from a vinyl. It’s a bit slow disco, a bit funk and a bit USSR.
