Video regarding how college tuition continues to rise

Enrollment
One of the biggest reasons why colleges have high tuition is to accommodate the amount of students attending their school.
Schools raise their tuition each year to:
Continue the upgrades needed to make it better
To avoid them from falling behind on academic programs.
Continue having the most up-to-date technology, resources, and more.
To pay the professors a decent salary or else they will not want to work for cheap
“A major factor driving increasing costs is the constant expansion of university administration,” says Campos, a law professor at University of Colorado. Campos clarifies that one of the reasons why tuition increases is to hire more professors so colleges can accommodate the large amount of students.
Reducing Costs:
Instead of hiring more professors, colleges can offer more online classes,
Being able to offer lower costs also was attributed to using new technologies in the classroom and online, instituting greener operations, and reducing marketing expenses
Stop spending money to advertise their school when it comes to sports, Greek life, and etc.
In State and Out of State Tuition Prices
Students struggle on deciding what college they want to go to because they are worried about the cost of tuition. Out of state tuition can cost 2-3 times the amount of in-state tuition. The reason why students would want to go out of state is because a specific school may have more opportunities for them such as majors, future careers, and more. Whether students go out of state or travel abroad, these new encounters will shape how they view the world.
