What if I saw a bunch if other people's Eridian!Graces only to latch onto the concept of Grace turning into an Eridian Grace post-mortem?

Summary of "From the Earth"

Ryland Grace dies at age 46, just three days before Hail Mary was expected to arrive at Erid.

Three years later, a strange Eridian stumbles through the crowd with one mission in mind: Find Rocky.

OR: Grace dies from complications due to prolonged malnutrition before he and Rocky could make it to Erid. Several years after being given a human burial on the very planet he helped save, Grace claws himself out of his own grave – far less human than he should have been.

The Vintage Story Experience

Can't you tell who has the better luck between the two of us? (Despite Cakeleigh being the VS veteran and me the noob). But that's alright because my abysmal luck in real life makes up for it.

I have never suffered as much as I have suffered playing Vintage Story with @maybe-its-kris (they’re amazing, they are not the reason I have suffered. No, it’s the gods of RNG who curse me úwù)

Also a lil context for those who don’t know; Meteor sites are really rare and have meteoric iron (which cannot be processed unless you have an iron anvil. Guess how we found that out 🙃), so they ended up finding the really rare iron before we managed to find the common iron. Twice.

And the dragon is called Bloom, because they kept trying to climb onto the anvil while Kris was refining an iron bloom. :)

Also also, the only productive thing I managed to achieve that session was literally only moving my skeps around.

What if I gave Martin a pet spider?

(Headcanon below)

So, I headcanon that Martin always wanted a pet spider since he was a kid but his mother never allowed any sort of pet in her house. And once he finally was living on his own, he didn't think he would have the spare time or money to properly care for something. This is especially reinforced once everything starts going down in the Institute and the idea of him never returning home one day becomes a greater and greater possibility.

Jon, after the events of 158, wants his newly established boyfriend to be happy and no longer as alone as he used to be -- to have just one more being in his corner to care for and be cared by in return. The thing is, Daisy might actually try to kill Jon again if he let a dog or cat tear up her favorite safe house. And unfortunately for Jon, Martin has only expressed interest in one type of pet: the kind that sends shivers down Jon's spine.

Cue Martin's very arachnophobic boyfriend walking through the front door, holding a box as far from himself as conceivably possible while looking like he's regretting his life choices. Martin, confused and worried about what horrors Jon found now, takes the box from him -- only to open it and find a very adorable jumping spider inside.

He names her Marinette and, while Jon doesn't trust that spider with his life, Jon is happy over his boyfriend's delight.

Does anyone else's bodys hate them?

I wake up Christmas morning with my left wrist aching any time I move it wrong. Fast forward six day and now I'm wearing a wrist brace at work because it's still in pain and slightly worse. Usually it only lasts one day -- maybe two if I'm unlucky -- yet here we are. But hey! It's not as bad has it has been in the past where I've had to abort putting on me seat belt with that hand as even that light pressure caused me to rethink my life choices.

Oh, and would you look at that? At the end of my shift the AVM in the opposite arm randomly decided to shoot a spike of stabbing pain through me and made me double over for five seconds. How rude. It didn't even have the decency to leave me alone after as it spent the rest of the night aching off and on.

At least the scarring in my lungs aren't wishing me dead today! I always enjoy when my breathing doesn't cause me pain.

Why hello there, Apraxia! Thank you for making an appearance. It's not like I wanted to speak coherently anyways.

Got to take my mind of things while I'm a it by getting a kick out of seeing the hostess's face at work when she saw just how far my knees go back. Got even more of a chuckle in when she found out the underside of my kneecaps on the very same knees often fall asleep depending on how my legs are positioned. That's not even mentioning the times I'll be walking and my knees decide to bend backwards instead of forwards like they need to, making me stumble if I'm caught off guard.

Oh hey. I think I may have scared off one of my bussers when he discovered just how crunchy my left shoulder is. I promise, it sounds much worse than it actually is!

Tying into my previous post about my albino crow sculpture, white animals with blue eyes does not mean they are leucistic. This is a very common misconception but leucism, unlike albinism, does not affect the eyes at all. The reason you may see white/leucistic tigers with blue eyes is because the blue eyed gene is very close on the same chromosome that the leucism gene is found -- meaning they are often passed down together but not always. In most other cases, leucistic animals retain their original eye color

Corvus the Albino Crow

Would you look at that, I hyper-focused on a sculpture after not working with clay in almost two years. Now I have an albino crow to keep me company.

Did you know that not every albino organism has red eyes? The color of the iris depends greatly on how the eye is structured and therefore refracts light. Albinos may also have light blue, grey, or even violet eyes.
