Paul stared at the clouds and smiled, laying down on the hard pavement outside of Fredrick’s. It wasn’t comfortable, but he didn’t mind— neither did Miku.

“That one looks like a snake!”

Paul smiled.

Miku stared up at the long straight cloud. “Yeah.” She smiled back.

Although they weren’t looking at each other, they already knew exactly what the other was doing. Smiling. Not exactly at each other, per se, but about each other.

“That one looks like a star!” Miku said, pointing up at another cloud in the sky.

“What?” Paul said, confused.

“Huh?” Miku sat up and looked at Paul. “What do you mean?”

Paul sat up and looked at her, then back up at the cloud.

“Silly,” he smiled as Miku looked at him confused.

“That cloud doesn’t look like you at all!”
