I look at the sun setting on the clouds and it makes me want to weep she closes the window to a sliver / it both eliminates the viewing of the clouds & doesn't let anyone else see. the skies intimate portrait - everyone wants to feel as though it was created just for them

i hear the constant buzzing from the bugs trying to climb their way through holes much too small for bodies of their size. they are trying to enter the room i am sitting in. i am in a room with windows on opposite walls. they are both open. i feel as though i am outside, the air is fresh and i can feel the breeze but i am protected enough that the buzzing from the bugs stays five feet away at all times. far enough away to become background noise. recently the feeling of skin against bed sheets and wind and water droplets running from my hair down my shoulders and into the crevasse of my back has been occupying a large piece of my thoughts.
