I still can't stress enough over how underrated Ghostmaker in this fandom is.
You want to say that my man, Minhkhoa Khan, dragged Slade's ass and called him out ("But what should be expected from a guy who usually goes after the kids?") as if Super Bowl depended on him, almost kissed the shit out of Bruce in Moscow, fucks pretty men and women in his penthouse, is immune to fear toxin, and despite all break-ups and reinconcilation, total different morals, got Bruce Wayne asking him to join him in Gotham after years of divorce, AND YOU STILL SLEEP ON HIS CHARACTER?
did you know that in Umamusume, there’s an episode of the chibi spin off miniseries Umayon called “by the golshi’s will”, which is a parody of the manga “by the god’s will”? more importantly, “by the god’s will” is written by the author of blue lock, muneyuki kaneshiro. therefore. Umamusume and bluelock.🤤

Never gonna understand why ppl demand a reason for your opinion on ships or like try to prove you don't have a right to like a ship bc you don't have a good reason to. Like so what if those characters r enemies I like seeing two boys who hate each other kiss wut r u going 2 do abt it
In all honesty, I think the only issue I have with the nagireo fanbase as a nagireo shipper myself is how most of the fans of the ship understand and handle the characters, particularly Reo.
It's no lie to say that mischaracterisation is very, very prevalent in the blue lock fandom and therefore in its shipping space - which is usual for a fandom and isn't even necessarily a bad thing. That being said, the way most nagireo shippers characterise Reo just kinda irks me.
Something I've talked about a few times in my previous posts is how the fandom often makes Reo seem more feminine than he actually is. What I mean by this is that they try to fit him into this sort of 'angsty teenage girl' archetype despite him not really acting like that at all, and this is partially because the majority of the nagireo fanbase consists of teenage girls (myself included).
But what I'd like to point to out is that the main reason people try to feminise Reo is because of how expressive he is.
We all know that Reo was going through it during the second selection, and because of that, there are a ton of scenes of him breaking down or being all up in his emotions. Because of this, the fandom tends to view Reo as emotional, and that's where this characterisation comes from. He's only seen as feminine because he's seen as emotional, and that's exactly what I hate.
It's such a stereotypical and heteronormative way to view his character it's actually frustrating. Especially because of how deeply it's rooted in misogyny and patriarchal standards. The whole idea that being expressive or emotional is 'feminine' in some way is one that has been notoriously used to oppress women, and that's what my issue with it is.
The thought that Reo is inherently feminine or girl-like in some way JUST because he's emotional sometimes directly helps in promoting misogynistic and heteronormative ideologies.
It's an even bigger problem with shippers in particular because of how it's tied to stereotypes about queer people. Obviously, it isn't a bad thing to be in a relationship that's femxmasc, but nagireo are absolutely NOTT femxmasc. The notion that Reo is feminine further perpetuates these stereotypes, which is a problem because, more often than not, they are harmful.
are you lost little boy
This is so much funnier than my caption, dammit
The y/n trend on TikTok is LITERALLY nagireo. Nagi is y/n, Reo is the CEO and the rest is caught up in the dumb stuff they commit in their path to self destruction
otaku nagi who's a fan of reo and works at a maid cafe to get money to buy merch for her shrine x idol reo who's recently become obsessed with a lazy maid in an obscure maid cafe she visits to hide from fans
many people don't realize just how alive they are
u post on twitter and u get 3 pqrts -1 follower and a hate message on strawpage u post on tumblr and people are being lovely in the tags, someone offers you their firstborn in dms, an unicorn is at your doorstep
