Haha wow.

So sometimes I end up disappearing for months on end because I have very minimal energy for a n y t h i n g. For a minute there I was working 6 days a week. I did that for about a year, now I have a NEW job, doing emergency medical dispatch. Getting paid more and working 2-4 days a week. Depending if I have 12′s or 24′s. One week of work was $100 more than two weeks of work at the other place.

Another “Just in case” that I have in mind is being dispatch for the emergency response team for the airport. I would technically be cross trained in medical and police dispatch since I have experience and certifications in both.

Now I’m going to go to bed so I can wake up at 4AM. The only con of this whole thing but what can you do being the bottom man on the totem pole.

Fucking finally!

I finally, finally!! have a new laptop. I got the Asus Zenbook and It’s a laptop that I already adore. It’s lightning fast and I’ll be able to do some light gaming on here as well as some awesome rendering and multitasking. It feels good to have an above average laptop again. My old laptop was a Lenovo Thinkpad on it’s last legs. 6 years old, and it didn’t matter what I did it would always slow down to a crawl. Even blasting it back to factory defaults. This is the happiest I’ve been in a while.

hiya! I figured id make an informational post about the little things ive noticed about being on testosterone that I found weren’t talked about a lot when I was starting my transition and even before when I was doing my research. I think that trans sexual health is an extremely important part of trans peoples lives (and that doesnt necessarily mean sex) seeing as the physical changes that happen during transition are often foreign to us. Sexual health keeps us healthy and comfortable in our bodies, so do your best to stay attentive to your body’s changes! As always, consult your doctor if you feel the need to. These are only tips ive learned from transitioning myself and from my doctor when I asked about certain things.

It’s been a minute since I’ve been on Tumblr. I’ve been really busy with IRL bullshit--- Keeping myself busy for my own mental health. I’ve finally been able to get back to work. I’ve been trying to get into working with the Health and Human Services state department. It’s really difficult even though I am more than qualified for the position that I am applying for.

Like really difficult. I remember applying to be a 911 operator and emergency services communication specialist for the city--- that was at least 6 months of my time. A personal history packet that was 30 pages long, two interviews, a lie detector test, a third interview, and hurry up and wait. I remember being so stressed out that I broke out in hives.

Right now I’m waiting for my first interview which may be in January. Another hurry up and wait situation.

Hopefully I can get in with HHS department and get paid 65k a year and not have to worry about money. Sure, I’ll be working my ass off, but I’ll be putting my degree and skills to work. Granted, I’m doing just fine where I am at now, I just need something more.

I won’t be upset if I don’t get in. But I also won’t be upset if I do.
