This year is the first time I’ve actually taken my creative work seriously.

Never thought I’d end up building a whole new world, lol.

So here’s the thing…

That phase where you’re not young anymore, but also nowhere near being middle-aged yet,

is way messier than the-teenage-years ever were.

I’m not even there yet, but it doesn’t feel like a coincidence that Dean and Cas were way more dramatic during that stage than they ever were before lol

And honestly, if that angel had shown up just a little earlier~~~

Like, back when Dean was still a dumb teenager, we probably would’ve gotten a crazy romance instead of… pre–midlife panic?!?

I don’t even know what I’m talking about anymore.

I guess writing characters in that weird in-between stage is just hard lmao

The Empty did not tolerate Castiel’s refusal to sleep. Until it realized why: He was unable to. Something had lodged itself within him.

Rewatching Supernatural just makes it clearer to me that Dean’s feelings for Cas are like a background program he never closes...

Meanwhile Cas is an ancient phone with one single app and it’s called Dean Winchester!

AG removed his iron helmet. His eyes had gone wild after the long battle — gray eyes caught between madness and restraint.

“Sometimes I have to question which side you’ve chosen, Commander.”

Shelle’s eyes — the very thing AG despised most, yet could never stop respecting.

And sometimes… fearing.

The eyes of someone who had never driven iron into an Ironborn, yet became Commander because of her devastating force.

A force born from nothing but intellect.

“You should go home, AG.”

I keep wondering how Cas could miss that Dean loved him—especially once he’d come to understand humanity more deeply, while still holding his grace.

…maybe the reason Cas thought he could never have Dean was bound up in something bigger, something heavier. In the end, humans have a phrase for it—he’d learned it well enough: it’s complicated.
