Communes are People Too

The old hippies are all Libertarians {whether they know it or not}.  They learned that to build successful communes required a government that wasn’t restrictive to their off-the-grid lifestyle.  Communism on the large scale is oppressive, but the individual ought to have the right to select a lifestyle that is centered around community rather than commerce.  The other baby-boomers became ‘capitalists’ by default, but they really want Liberty too {whether they know it or not}.  Hopefully, they learned that in order to pursue a life of prosperity requires a market that is not stacked up against them {or their environment}.  Capitalism is oppressive when power is tilted to any entity--government or private entity. 

Again I say, Freedom is the Middle-way.

On Purpose 🐝 –

Most of the jobs that our kids hold haven’t even been invented yet.  I hesitate to even call them jobs.  Purpose is the closest word that I can think of to describe the future of activity.  As we break out of the industrial education model that wanted us to all be robots {because now we have robots} and find ourselves with the available information and societal [permission] to search for that inner fire that is driving us each to a specialized role in the collective purpose of Humanity, the nature of work and our reasons for doing it will be re-defined.  Worker-bees don’t work because the have to.  They are unified by some collective understanding that we can’t even comprehend {yet}.  They are in the flow of inspired action in service to the whole. Else, we would find little bee prisons.   How do we get there?   [Paradox Alert]  A critical mass of our population will have to learn to simultaneously love thysleves AND forget thyselves.

What We Don't Know Might Shock Us⚡️

No one has ever observed an electron. We just theorize that they exist. I personally harness "them" with relative ease in my daily work; "they" are enabling you to read these words. What other natural forces/entities are we oblivious to?

Freedom of Transparency

They can’t take your privacy if you beat them to it.  It’s interesting to me that in a time where anonymity is dissolving, there is more and more talk about vulnerability.  Businesses, Governments, people shouldn’t be able to go through your [underwear drawer] for their own benefit, but they are, and you shouldn’t allow it.  But consider this....  Giving away your privacy is a whole other thing.  It’s freedom. What do you have to hide, really??  If you tell all your secrets no one can take them.  Now, if you’re Hillary Clinton {or Donald Trump for that matter} you might not want to take this advice...😂

Information is no longer a commodity.  It’s not enough to be smart anymore, or industrious, or nice.  Creativity wins. ~ Big business knows this and so it’s scrambling to hire creatives and restructure their offices into creative spaces and such......but here’s the thing.  It takes one to know one.  Miserably un-creative people are deciding what creativity looks like and really just re-defining the word Creative to mean “trendy”.  Guess what....if it’s already trending it’s over.  True Creativity will always seem wrong in the moment.  It challenges people--it doesn’t pander to them. It’s Risky.

Freedom is the Middle-Way ~ It’s Tom Cruise cruising down the interstate belting “Free-falling” at the top of his lungs {I don’t even remember what movie that is from} and most importantly, keeping it between the ditches.  Jerk the wheel over to the Republicans and corporations will make you their slave.  Swing over to the Democrats and bureaucracies will make you their “freed” slave.  Libertarianism is Holistic.  It doesn’t treat symptoms–it focuses on the root cause of a problem and supports what Good is trying to happen naturally, and this always looks like change.  During the financial crisis, @govgaryjohnson wouldn’t have reacted like Bush/Obama.  He would have let the big banks and the auto industry collapse like a mile-high game of gold-brick Jenga.  The economy would have re-emerged through the ingenuity of a whole new class of empowered people–people who are Naturally compassionate and supportive of one-another {and who become the opposite when they feel forced}.  Freedom is the middle-way.

HELLO WORLD {Goodbye...Real World?}

I went away for a while and came back with many useful upgrades!

• Realism: Nothing that can bring a megalomaniac down to earth like getting married and creating/acquiring a total of 4 kids.

• Success: Trying to be a Music Artist in the 2010’s is the definition of Insanity. My new venture Hazelwood Laboratories doesn’t make me want to load $50k worth of gear into a $5k car and go do a $50 gig.

• New shoes: I bought myself a pair of new shoes.
