Eddie was laying on his bed, nose buried in Lord of the Rings. He was slightly high, but that was nothing new. He'd thought he was home alone. That was until he heard the singular word: pretty.

"James?" He called, sitting up. An eerie feeling crept into his bones and he slowly stood. "Anyone there?"

August perked his head up when he heard a voice and sat still, watching the door down the hall, James … James he knew James, his boy often visited the woods .

“Jaaames” he called out in James voice thinking saying your name was some kinda greeting . His eyes shone in the dark, James was currently in his woods most likely walking in a circle till August let him out.

There had been something new stalking the woods of Hawkins lately .. more so the trailer park, dead pets were found half eaten or fully eaten, hunters telling the police stories of a monster in the woods, kids weren’t allowed to go out to play as long in the woods anymore or at all.

James had to bury a few of his rehab pets, which he absolutely didn’t cry over (( he did a lot )) and now on the night of a full moon something was crawling around the Munson trailer trying to tip over their trash can.

August was annoyed his stash of Free food (James’s shed for his pets) was blocked off and now he was having to dig some easy meals out of the garbage again. His antlers clanging against the metal as it tipped over .

Fucking raccoons .....

If James kept bringing them home and leading them to the trailer, Eddie was gonna lose his fucking shit.

"Get the hell...!" The brunette started, flipping on the porch light as he swung open the door. "....out of the..."

What. The. Fuck?

Fear registered in dark hues as Eddie stumbled back, taking in the creature before him.

"Jesus Christ! What the fuck?!"

August froze as the light came on and he backed out of the trash can slowly half a carton of raw spoiled meat in his mouth as he stood up slowly, eyes glowing with the eerie light that most animals have. That Peter has on some nights.

He stared at Eddie with wide eyes before growling low in his throat ears pricking when he heard a second voice, “Ed’s you good man?” James called from his room getting up to head to the front door.

August moved forward rushing towards the door.
