So hear me out- headcannons on Fugo and rollerskating🌚. (More specifically, reader can rollerskate and his reaction to finding this out. AND, if ur up for it, do u think he would try it out for himself?)

Reader can rollerskate and Fugo finds out:
Fugo doesn’t expect it. Like at all. You’re hanging out one afternoon when you casually roll up in your skates like it’s normal.
“Hey,” you say. “Hey, what the hell??”
You’re smooth with it, too, skating backward while sipping an iced drink like you’re in a coming-of-age movie. Fugo short circuits.
Tries to hide how flustered he is, but he’s clearly going through 5 stages of emotional collapse watching you glide around so confidently.
Fugo: “You do this a lot?” You:“Mmhm. I skate for fun. It helps with stress.” Fugo, a man who has never processed stress in a healthy way in his life:🧍
Secretly loves watching you move. There's something so effortless about it, you, in your own little world, moving like you own the pavement. It’s graceful. Free. You look... happy. And he doesn’t see you like that enough.
Also secretly loves the outfits. The leg warmers. The socks. The confidence. He won’t say anything. But he notices.
He absolutely SUCKS at first.
He’s a perfectionist and there’s nothing like falling on your ass six times to humble a man.
You offer to help. He resists. “I’m fine.” clatter “…I’m not fine.”
You hold his hands and slowly guide him along. He keeps muttering under his breath, mostly self-directed. “How is this so hard? It’s physics. This is basic physics. I’m good at physics.”
He clings to you like a newborn deer and gets way too close when he loses balance. Cue a very awkward "accidental" almost-kiss moment that he replays in his mind for the next 4–6 business days.
But here’s the thing: he actually improves. Fast. He’s athletic and stubborn. Once he gets over the mental block and stops being afraid of looking dumb in front of you, he starts to get the hang of it.
After a few tries, he’s skating beside you. Still a little stiff, but focused, balanced, a little flushed. You cheer, and he pretends it’s not a big deal.
You: “You’re doing amazing!” Fugo: “…I know.” He’s not used to praise. He treasures it.
Eventually starts going skating with you regularly. Not because he likes it, he does, but because you like it. It makes you light up, and he’d follow you anywhere to see that look.
Brings a book and sits on a bench if you want solo skate time. He doesn’t mind waiting. Watching you skate is better than most novels anyway.
One day you skate up behind him, pull his arms, and say, “Dance with me.” “We’re in public.” “Don’t care.”
You sway together, slowly, unsteadily, your wheels clicking on the pavement. He’s still not great at it, but his hands stay firm on your waist. You’re smiling. His heart is going 90 mph.
“You know,” you tease, “you’ve improved a lot.”
“Of course I have,” he says, leaning in close. “I had a good teacher.”
Fugo on skates = 10/10, would die trying but look good doing it
You on skates = His Roman Empire
You + skates + holding his hand = His heart can’t handle it
