A/N: this is a post reflecting how I feel at the moment.. sooo sorry guys
As another building fell down crumbling, you were thrown onto the ground, ten feet from Atom Eve and landed on your back. The Invincible War was too hard to win if you weren't a viltrumite and had no powers to rely on.
Sure, you had the super soldier serum running through your veins, but that wasn't enough. It wasn't enough to capture the attention of your crush- no this was something more than a crush.
You were so in love with Mark Grayson that you'd kill anyone to be with him. If only that was reciprocated. And now you lay there, rubble around you, dirt on your cheeks, cuts painting your face along with blood, and a busted lip with dried up blood.
You weren't special to anyone.
Everyone knew how deadly you were, you were even named the deadliest woman on the planet! The world loved you, but he didn't. Not in the way you wanted.
You closed your eyes and prayed this would make Mark truly care about you. Your ears began to ring and tears slowly fell from your eyes.
"Eve!"
Mark's voice gave you the energy to open your eyes.
He landed harshly onto the ground and ran to Eve. "Eve! Are you okay?"
You stared and listened to Mark worry over her as she was barely conscious just like you. "Y/N.." you heard Eve mumble, her hand slowly reaching out for you. A whoosh was heard and there they were. Different versions of the man you loved but was taken by someone who was more powerful than you. Mohawk Mark floated above you.
"Look what we have here! Hey hot stuff." Mohawk Mark greeted as you rolled onto your side and looked up at them all before averting your gaze onto him. water began to fill your eyes, but you held your tears back. "Y/N!" Eve tried to shout but was too weak due to the pain she was feeling.
Main Mark had quickly flown Eve somewhere safer.
"It's okay Eve, I'm here." But all she could mutter was your name, crying.
You tried to get up but failed, crying out and clutching your stomach. You laid down onto your back and closed your eyes. You could've been everything Mark needed. If only.
And if this was your last moment, at least you'd die by Mark's hands.
And so you did.
A/N: This hasn't been proofread and probably sucks buttttt its okay, I'll edit this later.

You had arrived at Natashaâs trailer home in another country and knocked twice. She slowly opened the door, holding a gun. âEasy there soldier. Itâs just me.â You said, raising your arms. She let out a breath of relief. âWe can stay here for tonight but we need to move out eventually.â She announced, walking inside.
You nodded. But then spoke up cause she wasnât looking at you, âRight.â
You set your bag down, and headed into the shower to get ready for bed. âWater is warm for about 20 minutes, try not to take too long. I have to shower too.â Nat said.
You rolled your eyes but you did exactly what she said. It was easy to shower quickly. In the red room where you were raised, you could only take 5 minute showers. You got out in ten minutes, slipping on light green sweatpants and a white tshirt.
After Nat had showered, you both were eating and watching a random show she had downloaded on her laptop before the lights went out.
You both looked at each other. Sighing, you both slipped your shoes on and went to go check the generator but of course it doesnât work.
âIâm 65% sure Rick didnât even bother to check whether this had gas or not.â You said, walking back into the trailer. âShut up. Iâll talk to him tomorrow. Get dressed.â Nat replied.
You slipped on some simple white shoes, tying them and shoving on a white sweater. As you stepped in the passenger seat, you turned the radio on and closed your eyes knowing you wouldn't be close to a gas station for another twenty minutes.
Then suddenly the car was shot at and went flying, waking you up.
"Holy shit!" you shrieked. You began pushing Natasha and trying to wake her up since it knocked her out. Another vehicle was driving towards you both. Her car was very close to falling off the bridge and you panicked. "Nat! Wake up!"
She awoke just as the person got out of the car, walking to you both. You both immediately took your seatbelts off but led to you and Nat almost falling through the broken windshield. The metal had been creaking and made you feel more anxious.
You both crawled to the back to try and escape.
"I'm pretty sure Cecil doesn't have jurisdiction here!" Natasha yelled. "Natasha, shut the fuck up and get out!" You snapped.
She ignored you, aiming her gun at whoever was out there, "And you should know I'm a better shot when I'm pissed off."
She shot at them but the bullets were blocked by a shield which was then thrown at the both of you but got stuff on the outlined of the window. You both then jumped out the window, landing on your feet in a fighting position while Natasha was on one knee, aiming her gun.
"I knew I should've brought my gun." you muttered. "What kind of fucking spy doesn't bring a gun with them?"
"Shut up, you're the reason why we're in this mess!"
There was silence as you looked behind and then above as the attacker had jumped above you both, Natasha shooting at them which of course was blocked by their shield.
Natasha's gun was kicked from her hands and began to attack her. You came from behind, kicking their back as Natasha used her signature move which was reversed onto her. She landed with a hard thud.
"Jesus Nat. You stop training or what?" You asked as the attacker began to focus on you. You tried to kick their side but it was blocked and they kicked your stomach, making you land on your back.
"Jesus Y/N/N. You stop training?"
"Fuck you." You groaned out, holding your stomach.
Natasha and the attacker had both stared at one another but they got up, walking past you to grab a black box.
"You're not here for us." You realized. Natasha kept the attention on her making you get the chance to get up and run for the box. Your mind was racing but you then realized it was Taskmaster who was attacking you both.
Whoever was behind the mask had the ability to copy anyone's move which was why you both got your asses handed right back to you. As Taskmaster tried to land a hit on you, Natasha used a grappling hook, making them fly into the air upside down.
As you ran to get whatever was in the box, Taskmaster had cut the rope and jumped behind you as you shoved them in your pocket, grabbing their shield to block them from swinging their katana at you.
"Where'd that come from?! Your ass?!" You yelled. Natasha came up behind you and threw punches at them before you both were kicked off the bridge, falling into the river. And as Taskmaster had opened the black box, they realized you had stolen it.
Looking out in the river, Taskmaster realized they failed their mission.
WARNINGS: This fic contains violence, cussing, graphic details of traumatic experiences, and sexual violence.
A/N: my first series!! this is basically the movie Black Widow but itâs a reader insert and in an alternate universe ofc. enjoy!!
CHAPTER 2, CHAPTER 3
âYou cannot demand missions, Widow. You do realize you donât have the ability to do that, right?â
âCecil, if I donât do this, if you stop me from saving girls from being taken away, I cannot work for you.â
There was a long pause between the two of you.
âYou do realize youâll become an enemy in the worldâs eyes?â
You nodded. âI know what the risks are. It doesnât matter if the world loves me or hates me, Iâm doing something right.â
He nodded. âThen, for your reputation, you are not allowed to go on this mission of yours. If you make any moves to start the mission, we will find you and lock you up.â You shook your head in disbelief. âSo thatâs it? Youâre willing to lose your best spy and assassin, just like that?â
âJust like that.â
âWhoâs going to do your dirty work?â You asked. âInvincible, Atom Eve, the list goes on.â
You scoffed, crossing your arms and leaning on your right hip, âThey have morals. Your dirty work wouldnât get done. And seriously? Them two? No offense but they both canât do half of what I was born and trained to do.â You snapped.
You took a deep breath, looking into his eyes. âAnd what makes you think youâll find me?â
Another stretch of long silence consumed the two of you.
âFine. I wonât go. But if you ever decide to change your mind, you know where to go.â You walked out of his office before he said anything else to continue the conversation. Youâre still doing the mission. With or without help, no matter the cost.
As you got back from the GDA and now in your home, you walked to the hallway and pull a floorboard to grab a black box and opened it. In there lied a phone with multiple numbers and weapons. Lots of them.
You went to pack up first. You found two suits to wear that were going to be needed, shoved them in your bag and placed your other belongings. Thin pajamas, socks, underwear, hairbrush, etc. It all fit in one duffle bag.
Before you left, you grabbed a photo strip of you and Mark. It was taken at the movie theatre on your first date. Mark had been so nervous that night. You smiled and shoved everything into your car.
You drove to Markâs home, wanting to say goodbye without really telling him goodbye. You even prepared a letter that explained everything what you were doing. You shoved the letter inside his pillow case because you knew that when he slept, he kept his hand in there.
You didnât see him in his room but you quietly and quickly opened the window and slid it before closing it again. The room held his scent. You hummed as you smelt it and sat on his bed, waiting.
An hour went by and as Mark opened the door, he threw his backpack in your face.
âOuch.â
He spun around so quickly with a fight pose and let a breath of relief when he saw that it was just you. âJesus, howâd you get in here?â You shrugged. âItâs a secret.â You replied
He chuckled and walked over and wrapped his arm around your waist and his other hand held the back of your head so you could kiss him. The kiss ended with the sound is a smack and you sat back down.
âWhat brings you here?â
You raised your eyebrows.
âWhat? I canât see my amazing, strong boyfriend now?â You asked.
âWha- no, no, no! I love it when youâre around! Itâs just-â
âRelax. Iâm only teasing.â You smiled.
He smiled and pulled you by your waist and hugged you. âYou smell nice. Are you going out tonight with Natasha?â He asked.
You pulls away, ânot tonight. Iâll be spending the night over there though.â You replied.
He brushed a piece of your hair out of your face and stared at you as the sun hit your eyes, making them shine brighter than usual.
You both spent the evening together until the sun was now setting. âI need to get going, I would rather not hear Natasha yap about how rude it is to be late.â
He laughed and hugged you.
âIâll see you soon then?â You nodded at your boyfriendâs words and kissed him softly. You crawled out the window and before you could jump down, you stared at him one last time.
âSee you in a minute.â
And you jumped off, walking away to your car that was parked down the street. Going towards your sisterâs house, leaving everything behind.
Itâs just for now. Just temporary.
One day youâd be by Marks side again. Just not now, not yet.
I loved the scarlet witch au!! I love when people actually make the partner powerful and not just the main characters âpartnerâ (lowkirkenuinly praying they make Eve more powerful next season đđđ)
(I also have an unhealthy obsession with Wanda and MarkâŚ. So best of both worlds lmao đ)
You and I are on the SAME boat! Iâm so obsessed w Wanda, Mark, and Natasha! I also love it when the reader is more powerful than the mc because it makes me feel like the reader is truly important and plays a huge role in the story.
They need to make Eve more powerful for sure
Iâm so excited for the new season even tho we JUST got the 4th oneđ
OH SHOT!! At the ending of the Scarlet witch fic she/her pronouns did pop up!!
Which btw is totally okay, I personally also try to write gn!readersâ but sometimes an AU or smth just doesnât line up and it ends up a female!reader đ
I fixed it!! I didnât even realize it omg. I was debating on whether I wanted it to be a female reader or a gender neutral reader but decided to do a gn!reader. This just proves that I need to proofread my works.
WARNINGS: the variants may or may not be ooc butttt I tried my best! this might be GN!reader i don't think I used pronouns in this oneshot.
The variants of Invincible had jumped universes and ended up in yours, which was why the heroes of your universe were all flying downtown to fight them.
Besides you.
You were no longer on the radar of the GDA and the only way to get to you would either be through Mark or you'd have to witness the destruction. It was unnerving for the world to know the most powerful and deadliest witch/assassin was no longer on the radar, but it was handled. Usually you'd just leave the problems to Mark and Eve since they were the main ones who fought. It wasn't the same for Mark though.
Sure, you both had powers, but yours was different. Your magic liked him and even buzzed throughout his body when he was hurt. One big thing he liked was that your magic knew when he was in pain or hurt. You always healed him before anyone else could. Eve's powers just felt unknown to him.
You would have left it to both of them if Mark, who was wearing a black and yellow suit wasn't in front of you. "Mark? Is that a new suit?" You asked. He stared for a few seconds before answering. "You could say that."
His aura was off. Like it was him but it wasn't the man you really knew. You hadn't seen him in a while and you weren't notified of multiple Invincible variants roaming the planet. Until you heard your TV.
"Multiple Invincible variants are roaming our city. Stay indoors, DO NOT ENGAGE." The silence between the two of you was heavy. Then, with a snap, you changed into your signature hero suit, and threw a ball of chaos magic towards him.
Which he dodged, of course.
"You're more different than I thought you'd be. My Y/N wasn't as powerful as you."
"Just testing the waters. You haven't seen anything just yet." you stated, as another ball begins to glow and grow between the palms of your hands. The unknown Mark only smirked and flew to tackle you into the air to fight you.
As you both flew into the air, you kicked him off, throwing more magic hits, landing a few on him at a time. As the last one hit, he loudly hissed. "I always hated your magic. Those stupid red balls of yours still burn my skin. I always hated that. That's why you're dead." You said nothing and kept attacking until he caught you off guard, throwing you into a circle of where the other Marks were.
You put up a shield as you roughly landed onto the concrete, quickly using the momentum to roll and get up. "That hurt." you groaned.
"Y/N?" The Marks said all together.
"Mark? Wheres Mark Grayson?"
"We're all Mark Grayson..?" said a man with a mask covering his head and face. "No, where's my Mark Grayson?"
"Babe, we're all the same person, just different personalities." No goggles Mark answered. You need to buy time to figure out what to do next. Why not confuse your enemy?
"So you're not the same person." You replied, hand on your hip as you leaned onto your right leg and tilted your head. Looking around, the buildings were destroyed. Rubble was everywhere.
"Stop trying to buy yourself time. I murdered you once, I'll do it again." You eyed the man with the yellow and black suit. Rolling your eyes, you replied, "hey, I was talking to them, not you."
You could tell he was growing annoyed. "Don't you all have to destroy other cities right now?" Black and yellow Mark asked, looking at the other Marks. "I'm not leaving if you begin to attack my spouse." Viltrum Mark said, flying in front of him.
"You're pathetic. Didn't you kill them?" He asked. "I.. I had to."
"Bullshit." Your Mark said. "You didn't have to. You all murdered them in their sleep so they wouldn't kill you pussies first." Your Mark finally appeared and flew to land right next to you. "How do you know that?" Viltrum Mark asked. "Words spread like fire here." They all sighed and looked directly at Full Masked Mark.
"Seriously? Did you really get here and vent to that Eve girl?" No goggles Mark asked. He looked down and muttered, "I miss her. I miss mom."
"Yikes. Well I guess we know who'd win in a fight." You said, looking at your Mark and smiling.
"Who's fighting? You or the Scarlet Witch?" Your Mark asked. You hummed, questioning it for a few seconds until you made a decision.
Your eyes glowed before communicating with him telepathically.
'You go forward, I'll be giving them surprise attacks. Tell the others to keep them all here, don't let anyone leave the city.'
With that, your body began to change. The tips of your fingers were black, if it was even possible, your skin and hair looked more gray and the red in your eyes and on your suit had popped out more. You lifted both hands, red swirling around them and lifted chunks of rubble into the air. You threw it all towards the variants and Your Mark flew behind it, hitting Sinister Mark in the face before hitting the others.
WARNINGS: major character death, angst LOTS of angst, no happy ending, suicide, graphic details are ahead!!!!!! i WILL tell you where the details come in the story, this is one warning, the other warning is in the story. DO NOT READ IF YOU ARE NOT COMFORTABLE WITH THIS.
You sat there in bed. Looking directly at the window in front of you, the sun was shining. Itâs almost as if the universe was unaware of what today was.
One last try.
You gathered whatever was left of motivation to get up, shower, and put fresh clothes on. Pink pants, green turtleneck, a jacket that had designs and colors on it, and your brown heeled boots. You put your hair in a side ponytail, adding a bit of makeup to hide the fact that you were dying. Not as in a sickness, but mentally dying.
Grabbing the phone, you texted the one person who might be able to save you. You were almost begging for a reason to stay, to live.
But you werenât sure if you could anymore.
And even as you walked through the streets you and Mark would always pass by, you never felt happiness. You felt nothing. Not after he had distanced himself to be with his âfriendâ Eve. She was so perfect. Perfect in every way possible and it infuriated you.
You found yourself at the front door of your once best friend and now is the man you still loved with your life. It was like you were a robot. You hadnât felt much this past year. Actually, you hadnât felt anything in three years. The door eventually opened and Mark stood there. His blue t shirt had been stained of something black. Mascara?
âHey, Mark. I know itâs weird that Iâm here but I really need to talk to you.â
âCan it wait?â Mark asked.
What?
âNot really. I could come by later tonight or tomorrow morning, if youâre busy with you know, invincible.â You whispered the last part and tried to smile. Mark didnât smile back. âLook, I donât know when we can talk but Iâll text you sometime this week.â
You began to get curious and before he could close the door, you spoke before thinking. âWhatâs got you in a rush?â
He sighed. âEveâs not doing so well right now. You know, since Iâve been gone trying to defeat the viltrumites, sheâs lost herself.â The silence was heavy. You just looked down and nodded. âRight. Girlfriend duties.â You said bitterly.
Before he could the fact they werenât dating, you walked away. It was pathetic on how you were quick to start crying as you walked. Maybe Mark noticed and just chose to ignore it.
Instead of going home, you just walked to the park where you and Mark had always played at as kids. The sky, once blue and beautiful, was now dark and the skies twinkled so brightly.
GRAPHIC DETAILS BELOW, PROCEED WITH CAUTION
Now, it was just you in your bedroom.
It was clean again. You had been prepared for a long time. You stood on the stool step, rope around your neck, and your lips quivered. Deep down, you hoped that Mark would regret not helping you when you truly needed it. Was that wrong of you? Maybe.
You kicked the stool away and tears flowed down your cheek as your body began to convulse. Your ears were ringing, you felt your legs kick around and kick over a few things. And even as you lost consciousness, your body was still shaking and trying to help itself. But it all ended. The pain stopped. You were looking down, eyes closed, mouth shut, slowly swaying as the wind blew through your window.
A car drove into the driveway, a man and a woman laughing, and opening the front door were heard from upstairs. âY/N! Sweetheart, weâre home! We brought your favorite burger from that one little place you and Mark would always go to.â Your mother said, voice getting closer and closer to your door. The door was swung open.
Your mother just stood there in shock before running to you, trying to lift you up. âY/F/N!â She screamed. She screamed like she was being murdered, altering the entire neighborhood. He ran up the stairs and ran to lift you up and remove the ropes from your neck. âCall 911!â He screamed.
He laid you down and began to CPR.
The sirens of the police and ambulance drove through Marks house, immediately stopping at yours. Debbie and Mark ran out in pajamas, running to your house.
And as the medics tried to get a pulse, it had been useless. They knew youâd been dead for more than an hour. Your father and mother sobbing violently outside. Debbie comforted her best friend, Mark just stood there. He watched as your not-yet-covered body lay on the white bed, being taken into the ambulance. He saw the mark the rope had made on your neck.
He had never felt so fucking sick.
He turned and went to the garbage, throwing up the food he had ate that day.
Oh my god, you needed help. And he ignored you like it wasnât a big deal. He murdered you. Intentionally or not. He played a part in your death.
He stared as the ambulance left.
He stared at your face when you were in the coffin. It was like you were asleep. All he wanted to do was wake you up, tell you heâs sorry, and that he loves you.
He stared as your coffin was slowly taken down six feet below. And he stared as his white rose he left on your coffin, was submerged by the dirt. And he stared at your gravestone and the fresh patch of dirt that lay in front of him.
Y/N L/N
a daughter and friend
And the quote below it made him feel sick again.
âi told you i was sickâ
hope you enjoyed this!
might be a sensitive topic for some but donât forget to take care of yourselves. you are loved and cared for and you will be okay in the end.
SONG: not good by alan silvestri (play when told to or play it now, no worries)
PAIRING: mark grayson x blackwidow!reader
WARNINGS: major character death, an alternate universe where mark and the reader are dating before thragg ruins everything, oliver lowkey being suicidal, this isnât an oliver x reader thing itâs a best friend trope between them
mark is only mentioned
â to gain back the heroes earth lost, you must lose that which you love. an everlasting exchange. a soul, for a soul.
Invincible had been one of the heroes to turn into dust after Thragg had used an orange colored stone. Thragg and the other viltrumites had disappeared right after but one things was for sure. Thragg had put back the stone wherever he found it.
The only heroes remaining were Atom Eve, Kid Omni-Man, Omni-Man, Allen, the Black Widow, and some other heroes the Widow canât remember.
Y/N had begun a deep dive into legends, anything they knew about space. They were desperate to find a solution in order to restore the balance on earth, protect it, and get Mark back.
It took weeks, then days, months, and finally years. Y/N was now 23. Mark shouldâve been 23 by now, but of course, life isnât fair so he remains 19. Just as they were going to lose hope in finding Thragg and anything related to the stone, Allen had burst into their office.
âY/N! I found something!â
She quickly stood up and walked to Allen who gave them a map.
âVormir? Is that even a real place in space?â
Allen nodded, âwe had people go there and itâs real. Looks exactly how itâs described in the map too. We finally found it.â Y/N nodded and slowly hugged Allen, whispering the words thank you.
Later that night, Y/N slipped her superhero suit. It was all black, had some designs on it, mid calf high boots, her thigh holsters had loaded guns, black belt with gold parts and a red hourglass mark, and her gold widow bites. She kept her batons on her upper back, making them smaller which would be easier for her to access. She kept her hair down, brushing one part of her hair behind her ear. Her suit was the one she was given during her time taking down the red room with Mark. He loved this suit, she thought. Brushing the thought away, she began to get everything ready.
She packed the map, ammo, food, and water in a duffel bag before heading towards her ship.
But of course, like the stubborn boy he is, Oliver blocked her way and demanded to go where she was going.
âNo. I made my decision, Iâm going alone, Oliver. This could be dangerous and could lead you to-â Y/N cut herself off, not wanting to think the worse. A broken whisper came, âI canât lose you either.â
âI want to save the world too. I wonât let you go alone no matter what. I told Mark Iâd protect you and watch your six.â Oliver said.
Anddddd thatâs how they landed on vormir.
Y/N groaned, âthis is gonna be a longggg walk.â
As they eventually reached the top, snow began to fall, âitâs kinda cold, isnât it?â Y/N asked Oliver. He only nodded, feeling queasy about this planet. âI bet Thragg didnât have to climb a mountain.â
âWell, he can fly.â
âWhatever, he cheated his way up here.â Y/N rolled her eyes.
âWelcome,â an unknown voice said. Oliver turned with his fists raised while Y/N pulled her gun out. A dark covered man who was floating was only 6 feet away. âY/N, daughter of Romero.â She stiffened at the name. âOliver, son of Andressa.â They both walked to the hooded figure, weapons out.
âWho are you?â Y/N asked.
âConsider me a guide. To you, and to all who see the soul stone.â He replied. Y/N tilted her head, not once showing fear. âOh good, you tell us where it then weâll be on our way.â
âOh, cariĂąo, if only it were that easy.â He came into view and had red skin, skeleton visible through the skin.
They both followed him to the edge of the mountain, snow falling slightly faster than before. âWhat you seek, lies in front of you.â Y/N looked over the edge, the mountain was high. Like really really high. âAs does what you fear.â
âThe stones down there.â Y/N stated.
âFor one of you. For the other, in order to take the stone, you must lose that which you love. An everlasting exchange. A soul, for a soul.â
Y/N was sitting on a rock as Oliver paced back and forth, unsure of what the red guy meant. He was scared and confused. âMaybe heâs making this up.â Oliver said, voice shaky. Y/N simply shook her head, âNo. I donât think so.â
âWhy? Cause he knows your daddyâs name?â
âI didnât.â Y/N began.
âThragg left with the stone, without Ursaal. Itâs not a coincidence.â Oliver began to feel dread. Like his world was going to end soon.
âWhatever it takes.â Y/N said.
âWhatever it takes.â Oliver repeated. Y/N stood up and looked at him straight in his eyes, âif we donât get that stone, Mark and the others stay dead.â
âThen we know who itâs gotta be.â Oliver said, staring at the edge. âI guess we do.â She replied, grabbing his hand and holding it.
âI'm starting to think.. we mean different people here, Y/N.â
âFor the last four years I've been trying to do one thing: Get to right here. That's all it's been about. Bringing everybody back.â
âOh, don't you get all decent on me now.â Oliver said, looking down at her. Even as she grew older, she stayed the same height and Oliver had grown taller than her. Their bond had grown stronger since the day half of the heroes vanished. They could only rely on each other for everything. Oliver could only think about how important she was to him.
âWhat, you think I wanna do it? I'm trying to save your life, you idiot.â Y/N said. âThis isnât fair. You and Mark deserve to be together. You need to be there for him when we bring him back.â
âYouâre a pain in my ass, you know that?â Y/N asked. They leaned their heads together and sighed.
play music now
Oliver broke the silence. âOkay, you win.â He smiled before knocking Y/N down. âTell my mom I said Iâm sorry and I love her and Mark.â Y/N flipped them both over and she stood over him.
âYou tell them yourself.â
Y/N shot him with her widow bite, electrocuting him and giving her time to sprint towards the edge. Oliver got up and threw a rock that exploded next to her and threw her off balance, falling onto the ground.
Instead of just flying and letting go, he ran and jumped off.
Finally, he thought.
But Y/N jumped after and got on his back, using her only grappler to keep him from falling. The harsh motion of stopping had made them both yelp, Y/N was falling until Oliver caught her right wrist.
There was a moment of silence. You could only hear Oliver and Y/N panting, both terrified.
âNo! Y/N- wait! Please!â Oliver began to cry. She began to cry silently. A tear rolled down her face as her fingers wiggled, trying to reach for Oliverâs left hand. She looked down and realized again, this was gonna be a long fall.
She was scared and shaking violently as she was being held.
âLet me go.â
âNo. I wonât. You canât do this! Mark needs you!â He panted. âI need you!â His voice cracked, tears streaming down his face. She just gave him a sad smile and stayed quiet for a few seconds.
âItâs okay.â
âPlease! No!â He yelled as Y/N kicked the wall, forcing him to let go. His scream was the last thing she heard as she fell down.
Death came quickly for her. No memories, just darkness. Before the darkness came, a short pain exploded on the back of her head and neck.
Oliver watched how Y/N had landed, body slamming onto the harsh cold floor, blood flowing out of her head. He looked away for a second and looked back at her. Her face was blank, her mouth slightly open, eyes looking up at him like the last emotion was disappointment, her right and left knees were pointing towards the left, her left leg higher than the other and her arms were sprawled out.
The body of Ursaal was near her, almost in the same position as her but she was farther than where Y/N was. There was a white light that seemed to be her soul, floating up into the sky and a white light blinded Oliver.
He left Vormir without his brotherâs girlfriend and with the stone that would help bring the heroes back.
And in the end, it wasnât Oliver who saved the world. The world cheered for him, but it wasnât him. The Black Widow saved the world, and he made sure the whole world would never forget it.
this is my first post so it might be bad lol
hope u enjoyed đŤ°đŤ°maybe there will be a part 2 with marks reaction if i have an idea and enough motivation to actually make it
