Ellie had always liked to work to music, and this was a nice change to constantly flicking through songs on her ipod. She slipped her shoe on to measure where her ribbons felt correct and pinned them in place. Sewing was the least fun part of her ritual, and she liked to get it all over with as quick as possible. Just as she was finishing off her second shoe, she heard the guy talk. Eloise hadn’t noticed that the music had stopped, she’d been too focused. “Oh, hey. Sorry, that was pretty.”
“Oh, thank you,” Nico grinned sheepishly, feeling funny after having been so enthusiastic a moment ago. “Vivaldi,” he explained, pausing his ipod and setting the violin in its case that he’d rested on one of the tables. “Have you heard his concertos?” He asked, attempting to make conversation.
