It was cold. Cold, blurry and hard to breathe, like her body forgot how to. It certainly forgot how to stand upright, for some reason.

What even happened? There was so much green around.

"Oh my god, it actually worked this time," a blurry figure above her breathed, the voice cutting through the fog, painfully loud as their hands went up to support her weight.

For a second, she thought it was Tadashi. Somehow alive, and looking weird even to her yet unadjusted eyes.

"I actually did it."

Then, the hug came. Strong. Desperate.

Familiar.

"Hiro?"

Why was he taller now?

Silly CoM went wrong au where Karmi almost died after detransforming and Hiro suddenly understood exactly how Diane could condone human experimentation to save just one person so easily.

Except it wasn't just parasynths this time, and he wasn't a biotech prodigy, and Liv just didn't have the fucking balls to clean up the mess her creation made—

And suddenly, Obake's willingness to make sacrifices in the name of progress was understandable too.

He hated it. But Karmi was breathing again, and that was the only thing that mattered.

Practicing with colored pencils I never use

So I have a pack of 120 colored pencils that I rarely use and I decided to try practicing with them. So I'm not completely washed guys! Will try to draw more backgrounds maybe. We'll see. Kinda tempted to draw my girl Trina.

I have an AMV cooking up that I really really want to share stuff for but I'll wait. Yes it's also BH6 related stop I know I'm easy to read leave me alone. I hope to finish the storyboard next month

Also I wrote fanfiction. Um. Idk man I had no idea where else to post it. Made it a month ago. The whole thing is just expanding on CtC angst I'm ngl chat I might need professional help. If that's what you're looking for have fun I guess aaaa

Krei is potentially a very interesting character, obviously the series doesn't get into all that, but I can. He cares about Hiro, but not the rest of his company or others in San Fransokyo. He always reminded me of my grandma and some of my other relatives. Charming, successful, rich, but also ignorant and actively contributing to the problems in society. At least my grandma isn't a nepo baby.

I think there's a certain extent to which he is aware of the issues around him, some moments where he actively tries to hide things from Hiro, but also a naivete to him. Things he never considered to be an issue because he never experienced the consequences himself. He's also, by default, responsible for an untold amount of suffering because of his position as a billionaire and CEO and making contracts with the military to give them Krei Tech inventions. I'm not sure he has the awareness to know that.

Hiro is surprisingly close to him by Legacies, which makes the rushed nature of the season 2 finale more disappointing to me. Where's the drama and horror :( I would like to explore their relationship more, along with everything that felt unresolved with Obake.

☆Fish in a Birdcage☆

WIP of some actual story related City Rising art for once! Taking place in what'd be somewhere in the first five chapters, it's more to do with Hiro's feelings towards school that I mentioned in this post. In CRAU canon, his high school only has this window style for hallways and larger areas, but I'll break whatever I want for the sake of creating the image of a birdcage for symbolic imagery. I'll get more into this one when it's finished.

Drew this earlier in the week. Of course I'm using recent life experiences to make more Big Hero 6 art. This is about those moments where you can't even look at yourself when thinking about someone who loved you, because if they were so awful the only reason they'd care about you would be because they see it in you, too.

The Conspiracy Board

Big Hero 6 spending months on this huge conspiracy board in S1 only to not figure out Obake's plan until the last second... they were such a mess I loved it LMAO

Two of the designs are like, AU or headcanon or whatever versions of her from after Legacies (tbh I'm very lacking in fandom terms LMAOOO), she's... getting just a bit less insane.

She is nowhere near my favorite villain of the Big Hero 6 animated series, but I feel like she should've gotten more screentime... there's also a bunch of other things I could say about her and Legacies, but I can not be yapping here today

My fascination with her probably comes from the fact I had plenty of friends like this during the COVID pandemic, and yes, I believe some of them would level a city if given the opportunity! I can relate to Hiro's position in that situation because I had to cut off many people and learn to accept when someone doesn't want help. The whole romantic attraction part is a whole other thing on top of that... that's another topic for another day
