If you're a creative with ADHD you try to redirect that energy. Because few things kill a project deader than apathy Apathy, boredom, and funnily enough "do whatever you want, no boundaries or timeline"
There's a popular quote, "Inspiration is for amateurs" If you read further than the grindset quip it's less posturing against laziness and more a warning not to get lost in thinking instead of doing This is something I'm coming to terms with and my personal blend of ADHD/ASD
9-5 has comfort to it. Clock in, do the hours, then leave. Ideally things don't come home, expectations are known, and you get into a routine Routine is a double-edged sword for neurodivergents. Need it to get things done but struggle to maintain it. Partly because it's boring
I know boredom isn't something taken seriously in our productivity-focused society but it's key to burnt out Routine can turn into a rut, much the same way we fall into comfort zones and stop improving Taking time for play, novelty, and inspiration are important
It also doesn't help that we're encouraged to monetize everything, turn hobbies into side hustles, treat ourselves like brands, and promote all we do as content for the algorithms It's ok to have things for yourself. Healthy, even

Growing Pains
Moving from my home studio to the new office has not been without it’s hiccups. Aside from my Brother scanner the heavy equipment’s been moved. I needed to install a Wifi card for my computer which turned into an all day adventure, especially after we lost the screws that came with it.
