I’m working on my first writer-artist collaboration with Olle Forsslöf. ‘The Ogre’ is a story written by me and illustrated by Olle. Set in the Baltic region, it’s a story of hunger, wealth, pickles and kvass. More real info to come.

Junky is finally sent off to the printer! Art and illustrations by Guillaume Singelin. It’s the first book to be released as a reward from our kickstarter campaign. It’s been so much fun to go through heaps of illustrations from Guillaume and to make somewhat of a selection (though to be honest I’ve just tried to cram as much of it as possible into the book) from almost four years worth of pictures. It’s 220 pages long with a 32 page full color section. A conversation with Guillaume all through the book where we talk about the pictures and concepts and ideas behind it all. We’ve also tried to keep the illustrations as close to the original images as possible and have print the majority of the book in two colors, one red layer that is the original red pencil sketches, and the final inks in the second layer. Again, we’re really happy to have this book out so soon!

It will be sent out to all backers as soon as it arrives from the printers and shortly after it will be available through the webshop. <3 Olle & Peow

Bio-Whale is a super melty sci-fi trip about a secret military weapon gone haywire and the people it affects. It’s part sci-fi action thriller, part melancholia and part absurd psychadelia.  Bio-Whale is probably the most ambitious book we’ve made. It’s a 100+ pages in two volumes that are sold as a package with a cool wraparound belly-strap. I've been doing these warm up ”life drawings” for the last couple of days just to get going again. I used posemaniacs.com as my model and it randomizes men, women, children, muscular and slim. Also from all different weird angles, so it’s kind of challenging to draw sometimes. Though you don't get the same depth as you would with a real model, it’s good enough as an exercise, and fun!

Oh! So.. We just wanted to share this quickly.Its.. all the people that will be sitting at our table at some point during Stockholms International Comic Festival. Its the same weekend as TCAF, but we are so so so luck and happy to have a great group coming over for the festival! airfortress, olleforsslof, blackyjunkgallery, catneep, krismukai, janemai, veesdumpingrounds, natalie-andrewson, boysfantasy, hannakdraws, arlinortiz, elliotalfredius, also mkllpz who writes great comics (including Nava!). 

The festival usually waits kinda late until they drop their list of guests so we kinda just wanted to share a little!!!! We’re also excited because the decadence gang and CBSP gang is also coming over … so.. YAH! HIGH FIVE
