Happy Pride month! ๐
HAPPY PRIDE!!
"am I your mental health companion?"
Absolutely loved having an excuse to draw the phemboy outfits again and the puppy dan photocard I got in exchange was more than worth it ๐โโ๏ธ (merci @extra-magichours!!)
sorry to bring this up but phil bringing up that being gay was considered a mental illness when he was born. still not over just how brutal that felt to me
and heโs not even 40 yet. this was honestly a rough episode emotionally. i really appreciate that they understand pride month is more than a celebration. the celebration is so important (like just look at what 2019 pride did for dan) but it goes hand in hand with recognizing that historically and today so many people work to take our rights and humanity away.
but it really is like the young minds flower garden from this year. even if we shouldnโt have to, we can grow even amidst stone.
i love and am so proud of dan and phil and of every other person in our broad and beautiful community.
๐ณ๏ธโ๐HAPPY PRIDE MONTH!!๐ณ๏ธโ๐
Colin is proud of you โค๏ธ
And a little sketch bonus!
the future is clear, it's pretty queer // the future is bright, so stay hopeful

This one perhaps??
tit! i love the faces theyโre making in this one
happy pride month to all the queer people in my phone!!!!!
just donated!! the beat of the week segment has reminded me of the bbc radio1 era so what are some of your favorite cute or funny radio show moments?? i def have a few favorites myself lmao
the custard-ing is deffo top 5 and also the confession roulette just for the million essay posts made about it
and then possibly my favorite/most underrated radio day is dnp at reading festival in 2013 where they not only interviewed a bunch of bands but got to go ON STAGE to announce a band. like imagine telling baby dan who had gone to reading festival 4 years in a row as a fan that at 22 he would be in a fall out boy music video filmed in the artist backstage area...y/n of all time

Pacing around. So I know the role of snokoplasm within the story (serving as a queer allegory and plot device) but I need to consider: what is its role in the world?
It clearly has some sort of ritualistic purpose, or perhaps nutritional? But is it a necessity or a recreational good? Is there something in the air and this is like their monthly reset antidote? Is it medicine? Why do people use different colors? Is it preference or are people only compatible with certain colors based on like their blood type (thinking because of antibodies)? It seems to be a topical semi permeable solution which can be applied at home (used in private)- or maybe it's meant to be kind of breathable based on the miming actions? Like maybe it makes a bubble around their face?
There's clearly a culture around what color you use, but blue is still an option and purchasable. So it's legal to use but there is stigma. Kind of the way a straight bro would judge a dude for drinking something sweet n fruity instead of a beer, and call it gay. So is there something to the flavors too? I think it's probably not an allergy/incompatibility thing but more a taste preference thing because like you can use one to cover up from the other. Also like it's weird to make it a biological compatibility thing when it's an allegory. So I think it's like taste preference. Where you could pretend to use one but use another in secret.
The underground snokoplasm market... Oh my god queer snokoplasm bars. Hold on. Hold on holy shit the queer underground of this world hold on I need a minute the world just got so beautiful
