No, 'cause like, 'Stay, I Pray You' is just the saddest song I have ever heard. I'm crying my eyes out.

To leave one's country is sad in itself, even if it was something that one wants to do. To leave one's country while knowing one might never come back is just devastating.

I become the most patriotic I could be while hearing that song.

I haven’t seen the musical fully (it’s top bucket list to see it professionally live), but I know the story pretty well and I know the soundtrack inside and out. For a while, though, I didn’t know the context of the songs and just liked them on their own, so “Stay, I Pray You” was really confusing to me.

My sister explained that it’s when they’re leaving Russia, which I got, but I thought that it was also some kind of flashback, maybe just a nod or something, to the tsar in his final moments because I didn’t recognize the singer’s voice.

I know that’s not true, but I really like the idea and think of it every time I hear the song.

Hey there! I’m not sure if you’ve been asked this before, but what’s the story behind your botw/totk link’s scars? Not the triforce one (which I really love the story of I think it goes really well with the story and symbolism, something something), but the two main ones on his face.
