James "Bucky" Buchanan Barnes / Winter Soldier ❄️ 🦾
I hope Marvel before they finish off his character will pay attention to him and give this wonderful character some more consideration perhaps by making a standalone film about his life There are many things about his life that are unknown and haven't been shown in the movies I really hope so Sebastian Stan breathed new life into this character and performed him in an admirable way
Things the universe needs to hear.
A concept i’ve been thinking about since infinity war- Thanos using the reality stone to reverse the effects of the super soldier serum, causing Steve to revert back to his smaller, sickly self. It seemed to me like a good visual way to really shock an audience and bring an end to Steve’s character arc (a calling back to the themes of the first avenger and the idea that Steve was Captain America long before the serum, and allude to the Avengers 2012 quote “everything special about you came out of a bottle.” If Steve survives endgame this de-seruming may be taken as an opportunity to lead a more normal life, as was touched on in Age of Ultron, and allow the new generation of Avengers to take the lead.) Anyway, i had fun with this idea, hope you enjoy it.
Fantastic concept, fantastic artwork.
Heartless
What happens when your soul has been drained so many times there’s nothing left? A name becomes far more meaningful to someone who once believed they had lost everything.
He isn’t an empty shell, but a man trying to piece together the fragments of his past to rebuild who he once was… even if he’ll never be the same, and must learn to live with that.

This is fabulous! The image and caption are totally perfect for @persephalex-fail-safe 's new series FAIL-SAFE. I got to beta it and love it to bits.
Love this take.

I will never cease to be impressed by what happened in that scene.
Bucky was completely lost, terrified and in pain. Not only mentally, but physically as well. His prosthetic arm was damaged, his human arm was ripped from its socket and his ribs were likely broken from the weight of the beam that had crushed him. He jumped dozens, if not hundreds of meters into the water where the Helicarriers were falling and with both arms damaged he found the strength to not only to swim, but also to pull Steve to the surface and tow him to shore, which was far, far away.
Do you know how impressive that is?
It's not just physical strength, as Hydra likely pushed him beyond his limits many times, but the mental strength he found within himself at that moment. And how much he loved Steve Rogers to bring to do it. Platonic or romantic, however you prefer to interpret it.
I will always be impressed by this, even now, 12 years later.
I love this.
And then this. Why are you not reading?
hey guys. who all is into stucky in the year of our lord 2025. sound off.
