Help. I'm stuck here in my skin In the place between what is right and wrong what I need and what I want Can they not be the same thing anymore? When the fire between you has slowly been extinguished Where can we find the spark? We've been picking up sticks and paper anything that could burn but could not ignite a flame When loving embraces feel like we're miles apart when words lose their power you're so close, why can't I reach you? Somewhere along the way, we got lost and we didn't drop the breadcrumbs to help bring us back.

Some of the best forms of coping come in expression of words. I found myself doing just that when I was going through a pretty terrible separation with my abusive ex that really changed my life in many ways. They have been in my phone notes for a couple years now, but fuck it, let's put it out there in the ether and see what happens :)
