chess

I played chess with a wolf, he took my pawn it was my move.

put another pawn out to see if he would take the bite.

took my bishop, and it angered me with all my might.

I was impatient with this match, i’m in check, and time was running out.

I got confused; my mind was racing, and their is so much doubt.

I need to be calm, take a step back and pray.

Shattered mind

I'm a shattered mind waiting for it to be fixed,

needing reflection to sort out what is and isn't good In my life,

waiting for it to just form a mirror reflecting my preconceived image,

but I can't be the one to form it from my own desire,

i can't be the lead. Only the living God Jesus can form the puzzle pieces of my mind.

It is him of whom I should aspire.

The Lord who chisels

the Lord cracks our stone bodies with a chisel hitting pressure points with zeal and patients as stone falls away revealing a reflection of light and Love shining brightly in all directions refined down to a rough diamond, chiseled to be pure mirroring his holy light.
