we're looking to create an AI policy, and when we were talking about this, my boss (older millennial) was genuinely shocked to hear that younger people do not (seem) to view AI positively (a la the recent commencement speakers being booed)

I misread my timetable as there being no English and there was English today.
I had not, due to misreading, done my essay. As such, I was fuckkkked.

So, I'm switching up the Integration AU posting schedule a bit :D
I'm running a little low on dedicated Integration sketches, and I want to spend more time on the colored comics, so I'm going to lower my Integration AU posting to once a week on Sundays instead of twice a week.
But there has been a different thing I've been doing for quite a while, which is theme song speeddraws :D It's a really fun art exercise and I've made a ton of them with friends over the past few months, I just never really got around to posting them.
For anyone who wants to try this yourselves, here's what it is: You and maybe a friend or two make a playlist of songs you like. You shuffle the playlist to find a song, play it once or twice without drawing anything to come up with an idea and make a mental plan, then you play it another 2-3 times while drawing. How many times you play it depends on how long the song is - you should be drawing for only 8-12 minutes, preferably around 10. It might be lower quality than you're used to, especially if you're not a quick artist, but that's the point! It's just a fun little thing :D
I'll be posting these 3 times a week on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, then the proper comic sketch will be on Sundays. Whenever I run out of these sketches, I'll see how my comic storage is and I may up it to 2 a week again.

Younger folk are getting really good at spotting AI slop, to the consternation of marketing execs.

From what I remember of back when Millennials were outpacing Boomers at internet and tech stuff in general, this is going to cause a lot of issues for companies angling to use slop in marketing because the younger set are always going to be better at spotting it than the older, but the older are going to be the ones approving marketing campaigns and ads and etc. Meaning, the older people will not ever be able to tell what might actually convince the younger.
The good news is that if it persists and Gen Z and Gen Alpha continue to scoff at the generated stuff, then marketing departments aiming at them will just have to give up on using it because they won't be able to figure out how to fool their targets with it.
The bad news is that this won't apply to scams and campaigns aimed at older people, so once again we're going to have a situation where the kids will be the ones lunging across the coffee table to stop Mom from giving her financial info to that really obvious fake scam mom oh my god do NOT buy that it isn't even a real thing.
Anyway godspeed to the younger generations.
