As you may have noticed, or not, Preposterous Creations has been inactive since circa 2014. The label operations are ceased indefinitely.

Please do not bother asking for music submissions, trades, wholesales because Preposterous Creations will never release anything ever again. No reply will ever be delivered to your inquiry regarding such topics.

We have noticed that some people (zines, labels, bands) have been adding our e-mail to their newsletters without our consent. Please do not do that.

All of our remaining assets (past releases and distribution stock) are being moved to Discogs, which is now the exclusive channel for a last opportunity to purchase.

Please be aware that all unsold items will, one day or another, be destroyed permanently. If people did not enjoy our releases back in the day, we do not think that the situation will change anytime soon.

In case your request is unrelated to the aforementioned matters: our inbox is being checked once in a while, but please bear in mind that no reply is guaranteed.

Preposterous Creations is back on duty after a long break with 3 new releases.

Recorded a week after the Prideless Lions sessions in 2012, this essential Aksumite recording is finally being released over two years later. Draped Around the Answers is their very first opus unleashed by a different label than Colloquial Sound Recordings.

Basic specifications are:

7″ vinyl records mastered at 45RPM stored in a fold-out sleeve;

100 red copies with red sleeves and the remainder on randomly mixed colored vinyl with white sleeves.

Spår av tid is the second – – – demo that was recorded back in 2010 and assumed to be lost, until recently unearthed. As the closest partner of this mysterious Swedish outfit, Preposterous Creations is proud to offer this gem to all of its supporters as a free digital download. No official physical release is, and never will be, planned.

Our releases have not reached any of those end-year lists but worthy of mention is the entry of the Hlaut / Garotting Deep split in Blakwulfaz’s top, one of our earliest supporters.

Long lost USBM legend and pioneer Dawning is back on duty with a re-recording of their timeless classic Divine Arrival of the Massive Hoof and meets the mysterious Swedish outfit – – – for a pulchritudinous split. The – – – tracks are a huge improvement compared to their first demo we published a while back.
