Today, Castiel lays in his bed and appreciates just how much his life has changed in such a relatively short amount of time. He pulls a blanket over himself, still sometimes needing to remind himself that he is now allowed simple comforts and desires that are so uniquely human. He shifts to a more comfortable position and closes his eyes. Although he does not strictly need sleep, sometimes he just wants to take a nap, and that's okay.
