BRIGHT XX TRADESHOW

Well we're back from Berlin and our first visit to Bright XX. In the absence of Bread and Butter this year it was a really interesting and busy experience! Needless to say we are fully inspired and are busy collating all of our research. Current count is over 40 different graphic trends on show. RED CENTRAL HEAD TO BERLIN FASHION WEEK

Tomorrow we hit up the Bright tradeshow in Berlin. Bright has established itself as the venue for streetwear, sneaker, fashion and boardsport in Europe. The unique concept of the whole event, a selected exhibitors portfolio as well as the supporting program and the integration in the fashion week of Berlin are perfect for us and our trend research that helps inform design. The Red Central crew in attendance at Be Street - Paris

Last weekend was 'Be Street' where we were getting in amongst the latest and greatest urban brands to bring you the freshest trends right now. From streetwear to live hip hop, breakdancing and graffiti, Be Street had the full B-Boy experience on offer and of course there was plenty on beers and burgers consumed to boot! Which ties nicely into our latest trend report for Spring/Summer 2016. We are sending out to all our clients this week so stay tuned!

When we first moved into our new office we really wanted a feature wall in the chill out area. We had seen a local artist called SPZero76 doing his thing locally and on our travels. We got in contact with him and exchanged a few ideas... This was the end result!

THE RED STUDIO

The Red Central studio is coming along nicely. It's been ten months already! So, we have added a splash of graphic goodness to the boardroom and the studio. Big thanks to The Bigger Printing Co. for the installation. In typical RED Central fashion we don't do things by halves and 'weeding out' the vinyl for the frosted graphics was quite a challenge for the team! We are so pleased with the end results and are already planing our next project.

THE PERFECT INSPIRATION STARTER

Over the past few weeks RED have been traveling far and wide. L.A, Milan, Hamburg, London, and next up is Paris! Meeting with clients, trend researching, design and fashion shows plus retail checks are all added into the mix. Here are just a few snaps from our trip so far, with more to follow.

SHAUN IN THE CITY ARTS TRAIL ANNOUNCED!

2015 is going to be a very BIG year for Shaun the Sheep! Not only is he starring in his own movie in early 2015 which Red Central created the Style Guide for, but it has just been announced that 120 individually designed giant Shaun statues will be popping up in central locations in both London and Bristol in the UK!

Here at RED we love working with Aardman, they are local to us and having created three of the Gromit Unleashed sculptures last year we just had to be involved in the new trail 'Shaun in the city'. We worked closely with Aardman and the Grand Appeal to create new assets and a guide for this worthy cause.

RED Central Vs Ubisoft Rabbids

Ubisoft were kind enough to hand over 8 blank vinyl rabbids and let the team at Red Central go crazy on em! After the Gromits we were well into the swing of it. We really enjoyed going to town on these little beasts!

RED CENTRAL SKATE DECKS

Red Central have recently moved to a new design studio! So, we have been busy creating 'stuff' to hang on walls to make it feel like home. Here is a collection of skate decks that were created by the design team. A lot of mediums were covered from laser etching, posca pen, gold leaf, spray paint, acrylic paint and blow torch!
