Hot take: Twilight would have been a really compelling story if Stephenie Meyers had unapologetically let Edward not be human. I.e. if he had been an actual monstrous vampire who battled to control himself and didn’t fricking glitter in the sun.

I don’t think there is anything wrong with me but I was cleaning up my room and picking up clothes and almost put my favourite hoodie - which I only wear inside - with my outside clothes and that would have made it “dirty”. Anyway, to save myself from making this mistake I dropped it on the floor so it could remain “clean”.

Horror > romcoms

I genuinely prefer dark stuff to films that are happy and bright because when I watch romcoms I am made painfully aware of the emptiness in my own life but when I watch horror I’m just like ‘Man, sucks to suck. Thank God it’s not me though.’ 😗✌️

When I was five

I had one of those little plastic motorbike that you pushed with your feet and I would always ride it down our drive way but it was super rocky and (I'm still not sure how) but a rock caused it to be cut in half and I couldn't ride it anymore. I loved that bike and I was so distraught, I held a funeral for it and everything.

life makes everything better

I took this picture on a walk after it rained. There was a little river and there was a bunch of mud and dead leaves and then slowly fresh green grass and I thought ‘Wow, life makes everything better.’ And the more I thought about it the more true it seemed. Homes where you can see someone lives there feels warmer than homes where you can’t. The act of living, of filling up your life, makes living better.

Look Back

Can I just say how happy I am this was nominated for an Oscar and I really hope it wins because it was such a beautifully done story? Also, I feel like it perfectly captured the struggle of being creative, doing something because you love it but also wanting to be loved for it. Like, man. Only sadness was that the movie wasn't longer cause I would have loved to have seen more but anyway.

Morals have aesthetic value

I disagree with Nietzsche about killing a cockroach. He implies that one is a hero for killing it because it is ugly. That is not the case. One is a hero because a cockroach will cause death and disease, thus one saves others when they kill a cockroach. But he is right that morals have aesthetic value as it is a terrible tragedy to kill a butterfly, but no one cares if you squash a caterpillar.

character design

So I was suddenly struck by inspiration for a character design in class so I started drawing in class but I didn't have different colored pens so I was annotating that a big splotch was a splotch of blood and this girl thought I was taking notes so she looked over to see what I had written and then got kinda quiet. After a while she looked up to me and said "that's nice." and I was like, bestie it really isn't.

I had a dream

That I met Adam Sandler and his family and he told me my hair looked like a toe??? I'm not sure what that means. The worst part was that initially he whispered it to me so then everyone was like 'What did he say?' and I was embarrassed so I was like 'Oh he just said my hair looks nice.' and he gave me this look that was like, 'you know I didn't say that' and his family were looking like 'yeah, he wouldn't say that.' So I told them what he actually said and they were like 'Oh yeah! I can totally see that! Why didn't you just say so?' And I was like??? idk???

When I was cast as the nurse in Romeo and Juliet for our highschool play and originally they wanted to give me wrinkles and what ever but then did a complete 180 and decided to give me a bold red lip and a dolce and gabbana dupe. I don't know what made them change their minds but they were so right for it.

I had a dream

That this lady was making a tiktok of her washing her (admittedly massive) baby and she took out this special mousse (???) and like wafted it by his head and was like 'That will be $50.' And the baby just had this sad pout and she was like 'Fine. $25.'

Anything can be a weapon

I was washing dishes from last night and I tried to scratch off a piece of dried cheese and it flipping dug under my nail and pierced my skin!! I am in immense pain but also in shock that a piece of cheese could cause so much damage like??? What the hell!?!?
