knowing how it tends to go with male authors and their wives it was probably marge who wrote the odyssey
Executive Dysfunction is an absolute bitch and you become just as exhausted from fighting with it trying to get One Thing Done as uou would doing All The Things.
“Crow boy” this, “crow boy” that. All I get is an annoying-ass raven tapping at my chamber door, going on and on about some “nevermore” shit fml

Oh, so that's why everyone was suddenly talking about homestuck again
For the record, I'm all the way around on morbid curiousity for this one. I'm one of the dweebs who will defend homestuck as a legitimately interesting and groundbreaking piece of art, but it's also just the last piece of art I would ever think is suitable for adaptation to a different medium. Any different medium. Few stories have ever been as much about their medium of presentation as homestuck is.
Making an animated version of homestuck is like trying to do House of Leaves as a prog rock concept album. It's like making the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy into a ballet. It's Twelve Angry Men in Tokusatsu. It's an artistic choice so self-evidently bad that merely the act of trying to pull it off is art in itself
And that's just based on the formal properties of the work - the bare fact that 80% of this story consists of teenagers sitting around having inane conversations about RPG mechanics in which the majority of the humour and characterization is conveyed via creative typography. I'm not even going to touch the fact that the whole thing is so intensely dated we should call it your mom
do you like ice cream and toys and having fun and sunshine?
