On this day in 2012 I was hiking in Nepal getting grand final updates via satellite phone & listening to a loss to Sydney - I still represented the Brown & Gold proudly & took that Guernsey to the base of the highest mountain in the world as I successfully trekked to everest base camp. The spirit of that journey has been with me everyday since & I continue to reflect on & celebrate that journey everyday including today while celebrating b2b premierships for my #hawks. I have stuck by this team since 1992 when as a 11 year old I picked them to be my team, I never wavered during those hard years till the 2008 GF when I witnessed my 1st premiership win & now I have celebrated 3!! #hawthornforever #alf #gf14 @hawthornfc
