My family just found out about Good Omens 2 and my sister is somewhat concerned that it would suffer from the same problems as a lot of sequels of popular tv shows and movies (actually her exact words were "they're probably gonnna make it shit").

I haven't actually been following updates on Good Omens 2 particularly closely (aside from whatever I see on my dash), mostly because I prefer to wait until I can actually watch the show before getting fully hyperfixated. Point is, I have full confidence based on what I've seen that it isn't likely to suffer from the standard "pretty much just a cash grab" issue that a lot of sequels deal with, but I don't know where I can point my sister to to convince her of the same.

In Summer next year you can watch it, then tell her she had nothing to worry about and that she ought to watch it too.
