Duckface | JULY 2017
This GIF is part of the secret monthly art challenge: A challenge I started with a couple of very dear friends and colleagues of mine in February 2016.
This months topic was “Duckface″ chosen by Juhani. In my lunch break at work, I doodled this GIF for this months challenge. Quick and dirty. On post-its. With no real concept of what’s gonna happen in mind. I just knew that I wanted it to start with the face of a duck and I knew that it had to loop.

2017 | 07 | A Week Of Greetings – Stills
For a week of greetings I noted down when I greeted people, what kind of word or phrase I used and what my relationship towards the people was. And with all the data I gathered, I animated a video for @data-data – watch it here. Above are stills from the video.
How to read the graphics: Left to right: Time of day Above: Hellos Below: Goodbyes
Line style:
Filled = friends and family
Striped = colleagues from W12 studios
Dotted = housemates
Empty = strangers

Hirnjauserl – An Austrian podcast
I started a podcast with my very best friend @julia-romana. We talk about philosophy and stuff. Unfortunately it’s only available in German but we have a couple of English episodes lined up too at some point. So stay tuned!

The heart of the storm | MAY 2017
This film is part of the secret monthly art challenge: A challenge I started with a couple of very dear friends and colleagues of mine in February 2016.
This months topic was “The heart of the storm″ chosen by Dan. When looking through a bookshelf at Waterstones in London, I came across a poem called ‘Second Tornado‘ by David Baker. It was a perfect fit for this months challenge and I decided to visualise it. @julia-romana read it for me and I recorded sounds in our flat on a stormy day to go with the voice recording.
THEME #12 / SLEEP / S
This week I had a step by step development when creating the graphic.

2017 | 05 | Another little animation for my side project @data-data. This time we analysed hair. I produced this within two days and it was quite stressful because I handpainted the frames in Photoshop. But I’m really happy about the end result – so it was worth it.

She was the last of her kind | APR 2017
These stills from a little stop motion animation are part of the secret monthly art challenge: A challenge I started with a couple of very dear friends and colleagues of mine in February 2016.
This months topic was “She was the last of her kind″ chosen by myself. While my initial thoughts were about humans and society, the final output I produced for this month has more to do with nature than anything else. I worked on a little paper snowflake and reminded myself that at some point – she will fall. The real last snowflake will tumble from the skies and touch the earth we’re standing on now.

Conversations with my sister
A new little video I produced for @data-data in the last two days.
THEME #7 / WAITING / S
During this week I realised two things: 1. Living in London I almost never had to wait for things for a long time. The longest period of time I waited this week was for about half an hour when I waited for homemade pizza to be ready. 2. In the time I spent waiting I checked my phone less often then expected. This may have been caused by the fact that I was monitoring myself though…
How to read the graphic
Columns: 24 hours of the day Rows: Days of the week Thickness of lines: The amount of time I waited – bold lines for anything longer than 10 min and lighter lines for anything less than that.
A little infographic I worked on for our project @data-data.
