Point Grey Pictures Reportedly Developing "Multiple Projects" At Disney Entertaiment Across Besides The Ones We Know.
Seems that more Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg's projects are brewing at the house of mouse.
Boardwalk Times recently released it's Disney’s Q2 2026 Mailbag where insiders hosted a Q&A with several fans asking about the future of the company across parks, films or television shows. During the interview the topic about the "Darkwing Duck" reboot came into question where they revealed what we already know. "That is currently in production with Jim Cummings reprising his role and that is a sequel to the original series instead of a full reboot".
The interview mentioned that Rogen's production company Point Grey Pictures currently has multiple pojects in development at Disney Entertaiment across film and television besides the ones we already know ("The Muppet Show" and "Darkwing Duck" for Disney Branded Television, "Figment" for Walt Disney Studios and the dramedy "Chippendales" for 20th Century Studios.)

One of those projects we know that was in development was a potential reboot of The Disney Afternoon series "TaleSpin" back in 2023 however it got paused in 2025 with Rogen and Goldberg hoping to get it back on track. In terms of the "Figment" movie it seems that production will start this year as The California Film Commission has given $18.2 million to an currently unannounced Walt Disney Studios live-action title for the state’s incentive program covering animation. ("Figment" got reported to be live-action/animation hybrid back in September 2025)
Other project is the full series order of "The Muppet Show" which it's backdoor pilot special launched sucessful ratings on Disney+ and ABC Network. It's last update was with The Wrap's journalist Drew Taylor mentioning that more episodes where being written during the FineTooning Podcast. This month is the annual Disney Upfront across ABC Network, Hulu, FX Networks and Disney+.
In terms of the unknow projects, let me put my tinfoil hat with speculation that Point Grey Pictures are going to make a reboots "Chip 'n Dale: Rescue Rangers" and "Goof Troop". Let me explain Disney recently has been re-introducing both shows with the strategy of uploading episodes of both shows into the Disney Kids Youtube channel.
Disney XD also aired a 24-hour marathon of "Rescue Rangers" for National Chipmunk Day additionaly the Disney Channel Animation channel made a "Kiff" x "Rescue Rangers" crossover short within the "Chibi Tiny Tales" series
