i just finished drawing one of my favorite scenes from @teal-writes fanfic press restart

specifically it's the ending of chapter five, its a scene i adore with all of my heart

so i went to go see the backrooms today (v good, i deff recommend) and while i was at the theater i got to see a cut out for the digital circus movie, which was fun!

#the second i saw it my eyes were glued to it while i was leaving #and if it was in a better spot i would have gotten a photo

finally managed to make a tadc sona im decently happy with. she's just called kitty, but also goes by kiki, or any other variation of a cat nickname like whiskers.

#my art #tadc #the amazing digital circus #tadc sona #the amazing digital circus sona #fun fact! the cat person idea came from a tadc wheel generator here on tumblr #i was stumped on what to do for a sona and then that popped up on my dash #so cat person!#but! i was having the worst time with the outfit #i had a different one i was drawing her in but then the idea of a trapeze artist or tightrope walker came to mind #so i tried that but tbh she just looks like a ballerina which is also fine #and after all that indecisiveness i finally managed to get her figured out #only to have to decide on colors #so this was a struggle

i just decided that in the duplicate au, now that the abstracted humans are restored, everyones new goal to work towards as a team is getting access to the internet

#my art #the amazing digital circus #tadc #the amazing digital circus showtime #tadc showtime #caine made so much progress in this chapter but also delt with so much tragety #the ending when they come back and caine fully understands how everyone feels about adventures was so good #the slapstick at the beginning was amazing too #and i loved pomni bonding with both kinger and caine #the chase scene in the tunnel was amazing #i loved it all so so much

so one of the best details in press restart by @teal-writes is that caine is extremely fidgety and hyper even when he's on an adventure, and my favorite of those moments was when he was just randomly and casually doing a handstand.

@teal-writes made an amazing fic you can read here, and this was a fun moment from the most recent chapter that I wanted to draw.

He grabbed her by the shoulders for a brief second, his eyeballs suddenly too close for comfort again and his tone starting in fondness and ending in drill-sergeant. “You’re a sweetheart! But right now, I need you to LOCK IN!”
