Sims 2 Traits - Self Interactions! I found a disabled animation!

Since I'm obsessed with socials now (and I watch @teaaddictyt streams and VODS where she gives me ideas...) here are some mods that affect Neurotic, Dramatic and Insane Sims! These are fun little self-interactions for storytelling or other purposes... I originally inserted these into the PersonGlobals TTAB. But as some of you may know, this causes a great deal of issues because it conflicts with other important mods.

So, I split them up into three separate controllers, so they don't conflict with anything! they all have unique GUIDS. These are non-autonomous and require Easy Inventory Check and the base traits mod by Hexagonal Bipyramid.

Interactions

Neurotic Sims can now "Freak Out" if their Comfort is low. They will cry, worry, or throw a tantrum and their comfort will increase. Paired great with my "Motive Decay" for traits, because Neurotics have greater Comfort decay!

Dramatic Sims can now "Fake Pass Out" like the Sims 3. Sims will react to your Sim, and their reactions depend on personality and traits (Evil Sims may enjoy it...). They can only do it if their Social is fairly low and it gives them Fun and Social.

Insane Sims (and this is my favorite) can now scream psychotically and everyone around them will react. I found a disabled/cut interaction called "Primal Scream" in the code so I just HAD to enable it for Insane Sims. There's an animation for this and everything!

Ok it doesn't show you the Anim, but trust me, it's great! And they actually scream! Like audibly!

Enjoy! Looking at this mod will also help you understand self-interactions if you're into modding!

I also have one for the Clumsy trait where they do the roller-skate fall animation randomly, but I can't get it to work autonomously in a controller. It stays in my PersonGlobals unfortunately.

4t2 Convertions for Men

Hey everyone I have a big post to share.

A number of clothing conversions for men with the NuAM body shape from Synapticsim and the Morphs from Julietoon-TS2. This is my favorite body shape for men. So a huge thank you to Synapticsims for this body shape and Julietoon for the morphs and the clothes you have already released for this body shape.

Simlish Workshop & Bingo Posters

I made these posters for my community center and just now realized I didn't post them back then. Most of them are focused on handicrafts, though there are a few bingo ones too.

They're on Artig, and of course on its great addons (1, 2, 3).

Simlish Safety Guides

Apparently there was even more stuff I made for the community center and had forgotten about!

These are on a new mesh because I wanted to treat myself with a perfectly fit mapping for once. I made six different sign designs, all of them previewed above.

The files are compressed. The mesh is 2 polys, the textures are 256x256, and the thing is located under Deco/Wall for §48.

@crispsandkerosene's Extended SimStandardMaterial Shader (Slightly Brighter Sims version)

Just an edit I did of @crispsandkerosene's SimStandardMaterial shader because I liked a setting somewhere in between the vanilla maxis setting for the scale lighting and the one in the Brighter SIms version.

I used 0.275 instead of 0.55 in the Brighter Sims shader, but if you want a flatter look you can tune the “stdMatScaleLightBetween” value slightly higher but the sims will also be much brighter at night.

It doesn't look too bad at night, I don't think.

Best used with lighting mods that tend to be more on the realistic-ish end like Radiance Lighting System, Cinema Secrets, or Cozy Home (this was taken with Cozy Home), but it works with any other lighting mod as well.

COZY HOME LIGHTING MOD

Cozy Home is a lighting mod for the Sims 2 that was borne out of experimenting with different lighting mods and cherry-picking which features I liked in all of them, including sims 2 vanilla lighting. 

The result is a lighting mod built from the ground-up from vanilla Maxis files and slowly adding in things I liked from other lighting mods.

Three 4to2 Wedding Cakes Functional

Thanks to @jinxxsims who uploaded every part of the cakes, I improved them to be functional. Now they also have their "half stage" and their own cake slice (you can modify the color in buy mode after sims pick it). For now I only did 3 of them with their recolors (you can delete my previous version), but maybe I'll do more in the future.

Hi Jacky! Hope you are doing well. I absolutely love your work for the Sims 2, including your Dust the Bust functional vacuum cloned from SpiralboundSims Vacuum cleaner. I play a medieval game, and was wondering if you might be able to create a medieval-friendly version of your object by replacing the vacuum with a conversion of a sims 4 witch broom. Mizore Functional Cleaning Broom for The Sims 2

Requested hair conversions part 1! So sorry that this took such a long time to share since I've made the wip post - I had to tweak a lot of stuff and learn again some stuff about converting that I've already forgotten ^^'... and I also started doing a clothing conversion and I hate bones assignments very much </3, especially when you figure out that maybe that's not bones assignments fault that something it's out of place, and maybe it's just the way you placed the mesh itself on the body but still you're like 65% sure that's the reason.
