mandidex is the name of all my game mc's > full name badonkadon mandidex or mandidex badonkadon! i came up with that name in middle school and it shows. anyways i've been obsessed with the concept of mcs forever and ever and mandidex is also more of a concept than a character. she wants to experience all the love the world has to give. Wasn't expecting to see SYLUS in the newspaper today?????

Context: I teach in Japan, and I was flipping through the newspaper to prep for a class only to see a damn near full-page spread of SYLUS in my face????

Jumpscare aside, the article was quite good! It spoke about how Infold/Papergames is revolutionizing the Otome & Dress up game genres in its own way with Love and Deepspace and Infinity Nikki, respectively. As well as how they're bringing more variety to "women-targeted" games.

That said, they're still in timeout. I'm happy for the success of the game, and it's exciting as a fan to see your fave games in the paper! But the LADS team has been been steadily screwing over their players for some time now, and we still have some issues to keep in mind when interacting with the game moving forward.

Candy is THE bimbo. She's stupid af, her best friends are a cold girl who likes shopping and dates an older guy and a gay guy who helps her with boys while crushing on the guy who has the biggest crush on her since forever, she has a "rival" but everyone likes HER more, she flirts with every guy regardless of who she likes more during half her highschool and even when they hate her she still wants their attention, she's honestly the prettiest and the only one who has an outfit for every occasion AND if she doesn't think it's fitting she won't go out (literally wrong outfit boom not illustration look at my dramatic queen) oh and when she moved out of town for some years? Nothing happened, only her was able to fix the guy who started DRUGS and also she fucked a teacher and a rockstar like...
