Further Future

What’s up stylish slugs! If you’ve never heard of Further Future, then you must watch the after-story video to get acquainted with Las Vegas’ ‘Best Music Festival’ of 2015. Taking place in the Moapa River Indian Reservation outside Las Vegas, Further Future has drawn worldwide acclaim for its forwarding-thinking approach to the music festival scene. The festival drew over 70 world-class musical acts, from left-field electronica to live indie rock and experimental bands spread across four stages.  The highly curated musical selection was complemented by its speaker series, Further Future Visions, a roster of accomplished speakers who shared their insights on various stimulating topics for the intellectually curious. Focusing on creative enlightenment through exploring themes of science and innovative thinking, Further Future is a convergence of the intellectual and the musical, cultivating a festival environment that celebrates human capacity--an experience unlike any other.

Hey Slugs,

We're stitching together a new project, which will be published in PRINT at the end of this quarter. We want to show off the amazing creativity and talent that is found on our UCSC campus. If you have something to share, get involved! 

We're looking for anything to do with the topics of Fashion, Personal Style, Body Image, and Identity. Submissions could range from photography, poetry, or literally just a very impressive doodle. Original work is preferred, but not necessary: if you've done a relevant project in the past, feel free to submit!
