Sleep in peace tonight for God is greater than anything you will face tomorrow.
You are spiritually strengthening yourself when you remember Allah ﷻ
Shaykha Safia Shahid
For indeed, it is not eyes that are blinded, but blinded are the hearts which are within the breasts.
وإذا خسرت كل شيء ، فلن تفقد الله ، وهذا غني تمامًا ومطمئن
And if you lost everything, you did not lose God, and this is completely hopeful and reassuring.

لَهُ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الأَرْضِ

For Muslims, prayer is not merely an accessory of the spiritual life, but lies at its very heart. Prayer is one of the five pillars of the religion, and these five prayers serve as the means to affirming our consciousness of God (taqwa) throughout the day, and therefore throught our lives.
Since the times of the five prayers are in rhythm with the positions of the sun and the changing of the shadows, and follow the subtle changes therein - prayer for Muslims is not merely a moment taken out of time, but the very way of experiencing time.
Expressions such as "I'll see you after Zuhr" or, "I'll be home by Maghrib" are all very common.
Every moment is God's.

Patience isn’t easy. Patience is tears. Patience is feeling alone. Patience is wanting to smash your fists into sujud. Patience is taxing. Patience is swallowing insults. Patience is smiles covering tears. Patience is crying for a response from God: “behold, I am near.” [2:186]
