A comment on today's educational world

I applied online for a remote internship. What does that even mean ? Isn’t the whole point of an internship to get experience ? How will I get experience at home on my laptop ? Still, I hope I get it. I move in four months for school. To finally study what I want. The thing is, where will I work ? There’s nowhere in the small college town I’m going to that is within my experience. I can’t go back to being a barista. But, I have an arts degree…It might be inevitable. I wish I could be one of those students whose parents send them money, so they can focus on school full time and make memories. Instead my out of class experiences will all be at some shitty job, making little money to help pay for my education and degree that will hopefully allow me to make more money. It’s an endless cycle. I wonder if we will ever break it…also gas is $6…that’s insane. Thankfully, it’s nice enough outside to bike :)

One of my favorite simple pleasures is going to the grocery store. Today, I purchased greek yogurt, grapes, coffee, mochi, rice cakes, pasta sauce, and limeade !!!

The more I travel, the more I realized everywhere new reminds me of someplace I already know...
