Ophelia and her Marshadow, Trick, out on an adventure together exploring some ruins. Looking for treasure guided by an old map they found. This is what the Hero of Kalos has been up to in Sinnoh while she's away from Lumiose City.

Purdy the Sylveon Female | Quirky Nature | Cute Charm Ability Moveset: Baby-Doll Eyes, Wish, Fairy Wind, Quick Attack
Hatched as an Eevee from a surprise egg from Amalthea's Vaporeon, Purdy started small and stayed that way when she evolved into Sylveon. Considered "miniature" sized and weighing around 3.6kg total, Purdy is often carried around by Amalthea or perched on her shoulders. Purdy is incredibly social, friendly and loves to play with just about anything she can bat around or chase. She does not like to battle and is primarily a companion and pet to Amalthea. Inquisitive, silly and sometimes a trouble maker for the household, Purdy takes full advantage of her cute charm to get away with much mischief.

Spawned from Alhazred @/darkraise after the nightmare disaster of Levincia City and given to Ophelia as its guardian and caretaker. For several weeks he was distant and wary, almost as if lonely in nature but gradually he warmed up to Ophelia and her team. She named him Trick after a long deliberation and for a successful prank it pulled on her Lucario, Zeke. Trick comes off as serious and quiet on first impressions, keeping distance from strangers and observing them intently. But once he knows how to get around their blind spots, his Naughty nature is revealed for the ways he tries to scare, prank or steal depending on the whim. Still very much an amateur on all fronts though, being so young and inexperienced. Trick is a 'mon of few words even to it's fellows, and prefers to stay mute even when addressed directly. He does occasionally mimic sounds or phrases he hears.
the unicorn / amalthea's allure is not merely an effect that elicits attraction or desire in others. i'm not saying that it isn't a very valid reaction to her either, she is very beautiful to an almost uncanny extent depending on the setting or au. her whole being is meant to be otherworldly to others and that can prompt a range of reactions depending upon the person.
her presence diminishes fear and uncertainty, being around her tends to be calming in some fashion. like you can trust her implicitly. some might be compelled to do anything to earn her favor, or be overcome with a compulsion to possess her for themselves. there might be others who feel such joy and awe that nothing could possibly compare afterwards.
she is a dream but she is also so painfully real that her absence leaves one aching and poisonously empty.
again, it all depends on the person. like with king haggard, whose only joy was seeing the unicorns that they drove him mad with greed to possess them all. to prince lir, who was enchanted and believed himself in love with amalthea, became a hero for her sake and later still, loved the unicorn she had become.

ophelia; misc details
the years between the conclusion of x/y into legends za, ophelia has spent in the sinnoh region. she participated in the league challenge and just dawdled exploring the region and filling the pokedex there.
cannot emphasize enough how much ophelia does not want wide spread recognition of being a heroine, champion or even that her family is well known and wealthy. she's just doing stuff because who the fuck else is gonna do it?
because of her refusal to stay in any spotlight, ophelia has released any legendary or mythical pokemon she has come across that were either captured by others or for some reason, she needed to capture first in order to calm them. she is not comfortable having any mythical part of her team. (which, if one insists on following her though, she wont stop them.)
tends to omit using her surname 'hawthorne' unless its absolutely necessary. she also doesnt have a ton of personal wealth - the family fortune is under her aunt's jurisdiction, after all.
something of an artist; she paints, draws and knows how to sew a little bit.
ophelia has a few years of gymnastics under her belt, as well as rock climbing. she's surprisingly agile and strong, which definitely has been useful while running about lumiose city.
if she does not have her greninja out, her lucario tends to accompany her out of its pokeball.
her favorite flowers are carnations.
amalthea can sing rather well, though she hasn't any formal coaching for it. but the thing is, she tends to only sing in private. to fill the quiet when the whim strikes her. she knows ditties and folk songs to ballads and rhymes, and many other melodies besides.
if she does sing for others, its only ever for loved ones and close friends. sometimes its only a few stanzas, or a singular song that she wants to share. never loud, her singing voice is soft and her pitch is limited but still pleasant to hear.

public knowledge — information that is readily available to those who pay attention / seek it out.
she's a wanderer, no "home" to speak of. comes and goes as she pleases.
has an active bounty poster. "the silverblood" wanted for 250 million beri. her name is not listed, but she is wanted for crimes related to piracy, conspiracy, murder and grand larceny.
sails a small sloop-inspired ship painted in cerulean and sea-green colors, flies a neutral flag and no jolly roger.
freelance cartographer and navigator, with no concrete alliances to speak of.
semi-public knowledge — for muses who have ears and eyes in the underground and black market.
log pose artificer — she's one of few not under world government contract and creates log and eternal poses to sell to anyone in need.
uses the ☪ symbol as her signature for correspondence and artisans mark on maps and compasses.
has an extensive network of connections throughout the world and primarily deals in the trade of information. with the loss of big mom and doflamingo from their respective posts, she has been filling some of the gaps.
most of her communications are handled through an intermediary — a half-mink named Silver is her primary assistant.
a reliable and honorable businesswoman, unless you lie or double cross her. she can be ruthless to those that break agreements.
she can be individually contracted to organizations, kingdoms, city-states and even pirate crews. terms vary.

guardian and patron deity of "sea star island" in the new world, she is revered by the locals and has several alternate titles in relation to her ties to spring/new life/the moon. she is very embarrassed by all this but takes her role as guardian seriously.
ophelia's pokemon team
primary team:
vex, female greninja — obtained as a froakie from professor sycamore when starting out on her pokemon league journey at 16. vex is a mischievous and haughty natured pokemon, with a fierce protective streak over ophelia.
mocha, male pyroar — a boisterous and playful sort, though he often forgets his size in comparison to others. mocha is a sociable pyroar and has a particular weakness for pistachio pokepuffs. ophelia caught him as a litleo during her journey.
midna, female aegislash — another find in the tall grass outside parfum palace. midna has always been an unsettling but neutral natured pokemon, though ophelia doesnt seem to care for their eerie presence.
cirrus, male altaria — fluffy, jolly and friendly is this altaria that ophelia caught fully evolved on a windy day. cirrus loves to snuggle and dote on pretty much anyone he might befriend, but especially ophelia and his fellow pokemon. the caretaker of the group.
zeke, male lucario — gifted to her by korrina after completing the tower of mastery challenge. zeke and ophelia are very attuned to each other, which one should expect from the aura pokemon.
trick, marshadow — gifted to her by darkrai (@darkraise), trick is of a naughty nature with a tendency to mimic it's trainer and many others it encounters. the newest addition to the team, trick is often hiding somewhere on ophelia's person until feeling comfortable enough to reveal itself.
reserve pokemon: those she swaps in and out of her main party as needed.
silverhawk, male skarmory — aggressive, adamant and despite having the proper credentials, silverhawk doesnt always listen to ophelia. she caught him harrassing a pride of pyroar in lumiose. a powerful battler though.
ursula, female goodra — a little naive but good mannered, ursula is an alpha goodra that ophelia caught in wild zone 20. she's usually a well tempered sort but is not afraid to throw her weight around in a battle.
aki, female meowstic — mischievous but serious, caught on one of the rooftops in the bleu district of lumiose. aki prefers to be carried around if ophelia has her arms free. she is not above pick-pocketing trainers who vex her.
additional
fleur, female roserade — caught outside the parfum palace as a roselia, with a calm and balanced nature. fleur is a very austere roserade and tends to only trust her trainer. unfortunately, she was crippled in a battle and was retired. fleur is currently under amalthea's care.
ophelia might have been the "hero of kalos" and their champion five years ago. but come to the events of legends za? she doesn't really mention or advertise her role in the past.
she also looks a lot different now too.
ophelia used to have darker dirty brown/blonde hair, wore colored contacts and was short at around 5'2" and was somewhat overweight for being 16 during the events of x/y.
now she's grown those last several inches at the start of her young-adult years, her hair is longer and a dark honey-blonde hue. she's slimmed down and looks quite different from what anyone who knew her would remember. and she's good with that. she doesnt really want people to recognize her for the hero or the one-time champ.
yeah, she played her part with helping team mz and fighting ange, but ophelia gladly handed most of the credit over to urbain. she doesnt want the recognition.
in truth, ophelia isnt really certain what to do with her life. where she wants to go, or what she aspires to become yet. and while figuring this out, she will continue to help others and do what she thinks is right.
malos verse lore ; pokemon au
how long had he been asleep? malos still remembered the loss he suffered at the hands of rex and pneuma. he had accepted it, let the boy and his friends have the world, the elysium, they wanted.
and yet he reawakens. summoned forth from the stasis within his core crystal and feels the thrumming power of the conduit deep in his bones. ah, a second chance; was this his father's attempt at reconciliation? a ploy for forgiveness?
he wouldnt ever know.
malos awakens again in a whole new world and while the memories of his life on alrest are still fresh, he's bound to a new driver: cyrus. the head of team galactic in the sinnoh region. like the snake eating its own tail, isnt it? the irony of finding himself bound to another man whose disdain of the world is an insidious poison.
character study: malos
a mercurial man, to say the least. blades like malos are influenced by their drivers — taking on traits that can be both physical and mental if the resonance is strong enough.
on the surface, malos is aloof, confident and observant. nothing seems to get under his skin. he can even be witty and charming if the situation calls for it. but it is all surface level, there's always an ulterior motive to his interest in others. he can be callous and snide, with a startling lack of empathy that peeks through now and again.
as the aegis, malos is different from standard blades in that he does not return to his core crystal upon the death of his driver. he also does not lose his memories nor the influence of his driver should he be returned to his crystal. it is possible he can bond to a new driver, he refuses.
malos struggles with his sense of identity and autonomy. the influence of his original driver, amalthus, is sown deep into his psyche. amalthus had a deep disdain and hatred for humanity, though he hid it well beneath a calm and sometimes benevolent veneer. malos took on that nihilism and it festered over time.
his anger and hatred is both his and not his own. he loathes the way his creator/his father (the architect) created blades to be reliant on humans. he resents this notion of being forced to bond with others and not be his own, individual person. it feels like subservience to him. worse that the average blade loses their identity and memories upon being returned to their cores.
malos revels in destruction. it is an intrinsic part of him. he delights in seeing the strife and suffering of others, because he thinks it is all that they deserve. in truth, i think he is envious of mortals being able to make choices freely.
the only genuine bonds malos has formed was with a handful of blades who had also been outcasted and hurt by humans. with one blade in particular, jin, whom gave him a sense of purpose. they gave each other purpose.
with the loss of jin and their companions, malos finds himself back at square one.
amalthea's pokemon team:
gloria | galarian rapidash | female | quiet nature | pastel veil ability. amalthea's first partner and signature pokemon, gloria is a multi blue-ribbon contest champion and has a quiet, regal demeanor. moves: psychic, moonblast, bounce, swift.
willow | vaporeon | female | calm nature | water absorb ability gifted from her father when amalthea was 14, originally an eevee before evolving into vaporeon on a yule evening. willow is another contest partner, often duo'd with gloria or arielle. she is a reserved but affectionate vaporeon, mother to thea's sylveon, purdy. moves: water pulse, aqua ring, aurora beam, acid armor.
leo | houndoom | male | mild nature | flash fire ability traded to amalthea from lysandre (@/xymongcr) as a houndour when she was 15, leo is trained as a guard pokemon and is often at his trainer's side throughout the day. he is thea's strongest battler and ace, with the ability to mega-evolve. usually sedate but fiercely protective. moves: flamethrower, nasty plot, dark pulse, sludge bomb.
aster | mudsdale | male | adamant nature | stamina ability an acquisition from alola during a time amalthea visited the islands to partake in their trials and sight-see. aster is stubborn and stalwart, whose strength steadies the whole team. he is a larger than average mudsdale. moves: high-horsepower, iron defense, rock tomb, stealth rock.
arielle | primarina | female | modest nature | torrent ability a wily and whimsical pokemon given to amalthea by professor kukui, as the popplio had taken a particular shine to the idol when they met. playful and talented with music and battling in equal parts. moves: surf, perish song, moonblast, echoed voice.
elia | aurorus | female | docile nature | refrigerate ability a fossil she liberated from the hands of team rocket, then revived later and taken onto her team. elia is shy of most, even other pokemon, and is bonded to aster. moves: ancient power, frost breath, giga impact, rock slide

Summary: An austere but gentle natured pokemon, it roams freely across the northern hemisphere to purify tainted waters and protect nature that is under threat. It bears no ill towards humans or other pokemon and can be sociable, if choosing to speak little. Suicune has never had a trainer but may ally itself to those it deems worthy.
