HAPPY PRIDE MONTH
the 100: a comedy (10/∞)
Have mundane Clarke and Lexa ever dressed up fancy and gone out to a nice expensive dinner and dance? What would they were
Yes!!! Now this has happened maybe once or twice. And even then, the restaurant wasn't super fancy but definitely like dressing up kind of fancy.
I think they'd docit for their 5 year anniversary. A nice place because Clarke insisted, Lexa kept going on and on about waisting money on a meal but Clarke convinced her. Truth be told, Lexa loves it. They are definitely a little out of place, they dont know all the etiquette and everything shocks them as they giggle between them, trying to pronounce French and Italian dishes. They switch plates more than once both wanting to try what the other got, looking at each other with a knowing smirk because they know nothing of the fancy wines aside from the fact they are way to expensive. They love it tho, not enough to repeat thehole in their wallets 😅
They are happy and buzzed and pass by a jazz club with a dance floor and Lexa absolutely begs Clarke to go in. They order another drink and soon the music gets them stomping their foot at the rhythm. Clarke notices Lexa's dreamy stare at the dance floor. Neither of them are dancers but Clarle stills holds Lexa's hand and pulls her to the dance floor, where they dance out of rhythm, buzzed and happy and in love, the type where Clarke hushes Lexa's loud laugh as she laughs with her.
(I'll reblog this in a bit with their outfits 👌 im at 8% battery on the train 😅)
Lexa wears a dress she bought for a casual courthouse wedding for a friend and Clarke tries her best with her usual clothes plus a little blazer. They don't really have fancy clothes so they just try their best to look put together 🩷
my favourite thing is characters who just met the person theyre literally going to be wildly in love with for the rest of their lives and theyre like “:/ they’re not all that” this is so embarrassing for u

Kinda gay of Kate to wear this suit. Why is she wearing a tie? For Yelena to undo it? Why is she wearing a blazer? For Yelena to pull her close by it?
happy pride month!

This would be so much easier if you’d stop trying to kiss me and just let me HOP DOWN, Fred.

We don’t have to talk at all.
This is Doris Pollas, the cofounder of the organisation now known as lgbt+ Denmark which by being founded in 1948 is one of the oldest ongoing queer organisation in the world.
Doris lived in a farm in Jutland as a child. She was always butch and figured out she was a lesbian in her teens. When she heard about a club in copenhagen where boys kissed boys and girls kissed girls she went just some months after and it was through that club she started a paper connecting queer people all up to seventies and co founded lgbt+ Denmark.
She is now 97 years old and wishes for every queer person to have an as loving and accepting family as she did.
I don’t see a lot of older gays from my country, so learning about Doris, a masc lesbian, was really nice.
Doris passed ways last summer, aged 101. Here’s the obituary LGBT+ Danmark wrote for her - in English
