Your character arrives home to find their door unlocked and slightly ajar, and they're sure they locked it on their way out. What do they do?

HEADCANON/PLOTTING OPTION: Why is it unlocked?

Charlee would probably just start yelling, honestly. “Who the fuck thinks they can come around here and fuck with my shit?! You better show your ugly goddamn face, ya shithead!” Whenever found, definitely stab them (quite a few times for good measure, because, you know, they’re dramatic as hell), and let them serve as a reminder that she’s a little over the top.

To answer the second part, this could go slightly different if we were to plot something out. Maybe they got the wrong house or something and she only stabs them once :~) You know, as a warning. <3

Evening was soon going to become night and the soft fur underneath his fingers would begin to blend into the sky above. Soft, inaudible whispers escaped the usually mute man’s mouth as he gently stroked the back of a stray, all-black feline. It was a wonder that such a vulnerable creature was surviving in this town but it delighted Angel to no end. The thought of using a furry friend to ease his isolation had crossed his mind before but there were none to be found in a place like Kingstown before now according to his own experience. The sweet moment ended when the cat’s ears perked up and it suddenly leaped from his lap due to approaching footsteps.

Charlee clomped down the street, her boots audible from many yards away. Her style is important to her, but no matter what she’s wearing, she nearly always picks these beat up, steel toed, loud as hell boots to pair with it. Her floral dress clung to her front and puffed up behind her with the wind. She was only making her way to the grocery store for some generic, probably stale Cheetos and sour candy, but was distracted by the black cat running past her. “Oh, shit! That’s good luck! Sweet!” She teetered on her heels, then nearly fell over with surprise at the man nearby. “Christ, I almost shit a brick! What the hell, man?”

A smile on Bobbi’s face as she watched Charlee explain themself which was quickly interrupted with a frown from Bobbi. “What?” She said softly in confusion, she didn’t understand what she had done wrong. “What exactly would I need to butter you up for?” She shook her head with a roll of the eyes. “Thanks for the advice but I didn’t ask for it.” Bobbi huffed as she stood on the spot with her arms folding across her chest. She felt her attitude completely change with the other, that was the last time she’d be complimenting Charlee for the foreseeable future that’s for sure. “Maybe learn to take a fuckin’ compliment, your attitude sucks. Try being a little nicer and maybe you’d have more friends, the loneliness is seeping out of you. It’s sad.” She snapped. She wasn’t one to usually dish out the insults so easily but Charlee caught her on a bad day and wasn’t the most pleasant to her.

"I don’t know, darling, you tell me what you’d need to butter me up for. Scheming away, are ya?” Charlee was more than annoyed at the whole interaction, from her impatience to the response she went with. They couldn’t help but laugh though. A chuckle left them, loud and long, throwing their head back a little. “God, I love it! ‘Learn to take a fuckin compliment,’ ah, that’s too damn good.” Charlee smiled. “I just can’t seem to trust people, can I? You sure you weren’t just fucking with me?”

Bobbi sighed deeply for a moment before tucking a strand of loose hair behind her ear. She shifted on the spot impatiently for a moment before turning to leave, stopping in her tracks before she walked into the other. A smile appearing on her face as she tilted her head to look at the other. She wasn’t feeling the most patient today clearly but she suddenly found the patience to speak with the other. “You look cute today. Did you do something different with your hair?” She complimented the other.

Charlee just wasn’t in the mood. Granted, they were never in the mood, for anything — except maybe being an asshole or rudely hitting on hot woman things — but today was no exception. So when an unhappy-looking person idled up next to them, they could already smell the stink of their own annoyance hanging in the air. Just before Charlee almost dropped a comment on how ugly their stank face was, they were tripped up by their ego. 

“Oh, thank you,” Charlee replied, tucking hair behind their ear. “No, not at all. I’m just always this good-looking.” After a moment, though, they narrowed their eyes at her. “Wait. What the fuck’s your deal? You trying to butter me up, dollface? You reek of Regina George energy. You know, sincerity will getcha a lot farther than whatever the fuck you’ve got goin’ on.”
