Fallujah have dropped their new single from their upcoming album “Dreamless”. This track shows some slight improvement in terms of production from The Flesh Prevails, and this is probably aided in part by the band’s move to Nuclear Blast. The instrumentation is still up to par, although some places are a little chaotic but enjoyable once you digest it. The addition of the female vocals in the middle section of the song along with other short breaks of ambiance shows Fallujah’s continued attention towards the projected “atmosphere” of their music.
The parts that I really liked was the comeback of the heavy vocals after Letzler’s part ended. I also enjoyed the repeating tremolo and blast beat to breakdown pattern at the beginning of Letlzer’s part. Overall, I’d give this track an 8/10, since it has successfully built my hype for the album. I really REALLY want more of this album now.
